Hey Kate! Thanks! When she made that video she was watching Bindi the Jungle Girl a lot..she caught on to the accent fast. We are constantly entertained!
We miss you on the preggo checkin...Im thinking you'll be back here soon! I have even been thinking of another..can you believe that!!!
btw..your girls are just gorgeous!
Thanks, Susan. That was so cute! Did Haley come up with the script herself? I laughed when I saw the little dog. Thanks for the comic relief, and what a talented daughter you have!
Susan, the link would not work for me. I tried today & the day you put it up?

Not sure why you cannot see the video..hmmmm.
Dawn-thanks! Actually that was her first video and had no script..just went out there and did it. Now she does come up with ideas and Im even in the videos now..Im NOT an actor! Bubbles, our dog, is better at it than me!
When do you find out the glucose results??
Rough night with my head cold. I am fine during the day, but cannot breathe at night. I did end up taking some benadryl and that helped a little. I slept in today so Im feeling ok now. Sipping on some coffee now. We have a few errands to run today and mom will be here around 5. If I can get the energy to workout it will probably be a walk or elliptical. That is my excitment for the day!
Waves to Jen, Pricialla, Wendy, Christine and Allison!

I'm sure you look beautiful! And completely supported. Go, girl! Hey, maybe there's a market for sexy support hose and belly bras. Time to put all those hormones to good use.
Ok I guess I've been reading a lot lately. When I went to get my sonogram done, they said my baby weights about 7 ounces, the technician marked on a paper something like poor fetal growth or something like that, I went back and asked her and she said that he measured small 3 days or so and that she had marked that because of insurance purposes. She did not seem concern and she wouldn't have said anything if I wouldn't have asked.
But I've read that by now, he should be 9 ounces.
Am I freaking out for no reason or what???
I can't stop thinking of it but I don't to call the dr just yet, since she'll see me in about 10 days.
You know I noticed too that my Dr doesn't always seem to tell me everything unless I ask specific questions. I say call the Dr for your own peace of mind (trust me, we pay a lot to the Drs for all these apts). I'm sure Drs hear all sorts of questions from us pregnant moms. I would call because as a first-time mom I never know if something is serious or not. And the assistants as the Ob-Gyn offices are usually very kind in dealing with us nervous pregos. I wouldn't worry for 10 days; I would make the call.
Pricilla-I would call too to put your mind at rest. Could be they had your due date off 3 days. My friends who is a week behind me...her baby is measuring a week too big one week..then fine the next.
Priscilla- I agree with the others, it wouldn't hurt to give your dr a call. I know women on another forum that something similiar has happened to and it turns out to be nothing beause the baby catches up by next appointment. Don't read anything on the internet, just talk to your dr for peace of mind.
Woo-hoo! I don't have gestational diabetes. It was a false alarm, I guess.
But from this point forward, I vow to eat well . . .
Have a great day, everyone, and I do hope everyone's parents and families are well. It's so hard to deal with stress on top of the little one. BTW, I think my little one at 30 weeks now has elbows. Sometimes I feel a kick or punch. I wouldn't say it hurts, but it feels almost sharp!
Precilla- I would call to ease your mind, never worry. My son was born very small, 6 pounds 7 ounces and is off the chart on height and growth. His friends were 10 pound babies, who are smaller as toddlers. I am sure that you are fine, and that everything is okay. You are gaining weight, and that is all that matters. THat means your baby is getting enough and you are great at growing a person! Make the call and feel better!
Dawn-that is great news!!!! I took the same vow. I was so thankful that I passsed this time I have been really trying to eat really healthy.
I have been cooking/baking new recipes today. Sweet Potato and Lentil soup..awesome!! and Whole Wheat Banana Muffins with flax and walnuts..also awesome! I got them both from a pregnancy recipe site. I have made 3 new soups this week so my freezer is stocked! I really love soup!!!
Did not workout today...was just not feeling it! I"ll get back to it tomorrow.
Susan - What is your pregnancy recipe site? I love soup and know that I should be eating more heathfully, healthier, full of healthness?
Priscilla - I am sure everything is fine, my ultrasound keeps showing my boy two weeks too big, and I have been told that I may just be early. Definitely call your doctor rather than worry. Congratulations on having a little boy!
Soups are just an easy way to get in some good nutrition!!
Mom is here and dh has gone camping and I am feeling the effects of not sleeping..yawn! I have to go to a pee-wee cheerleading meeting at 6. Hope you guys have a good night!
Happy Saturday!
I slept pretty darn good last night. I took some benadryl and tylenol before bed. Got up my normal 3 pee times but all it all it was good. I did ME this morning. Not sure what we'll do today. Probably some shopping and swimming.
Hi to all my fellow preggos
Thanks to all of you for your comments. The nurse called me back to discuss the baby's weight but I missed the call and now I have to wait until Monday. I feel better now after reading your comments, I guess my concern was that it might have been caused by me not taking the prenatals when I was so sick. DH is really supportive and doesn't seem worry at all. He said it's normal and that it's only 2 ounces off. Not big deal.
Dawn, Congrats on the test, I bet it's a relieve. I can tell you that I'm not looking forward to it.
Precilla- Do not worry. The prenatals help the most with preventing deformities like Spina Bifida, etc. You are in the clear. I would not worry at all. Enjoy your weekend, have a cookie!
Well I got my hair cut and colored (my norm) today FINALLY so I feel soooo much better. I definitely am trying not to be too frumpy right now. Might be going to a karaoke bar tonight with some friends if I get a nap in. Of course I'm not singing but I plan on taking videos of the others.
