pregnancy & weightlifting

Hey Cathe,
I'm 17 weeks pregnant & would like to continue lifting weights. My questions is, is it going to do me any good if I lift lighter weights then what I did before I was pregnant? The lighter weights just make me feel a little more comfortable given the pregnancy, but I can't help but wonder if I'm doing my muscles any good since I'm not challenging them like I'm use to.
