Hi ladies,
It must be my pregnancy hormones but I am feeling down today, too much stress lately. We had the house inspected by our 3rd party inspector and he found only minor issues, I guess the biggest issue is that the house is supposed to have a full sprinkler system but there is one area (the sod over the retention wall on the backyard that is not covered by the system so we would have to water that ourselves) I hope they don't fuss much about that and fix it somehow.
Today I had my 35 week check up, gained 1/2 pound more this past two weeks and from now on they'll see me every week. I got the h1n1 flu shot and she checked my cervix (no changes, long and soft) They also did a swab test for Streps and I'll get my sonogram done on Wednesday.
Went to Ross and got 2 more sleeping gowns for my labor bag.
I asked the Dr about induction after 40 weeks and she said that they induce as early as 39 weeks if I wanted to, I guess I'm having guilt feelings for wanting to be induce at 39 weeks. I was talking to my mom and she told me that it's better to just let things flow naturally, I snapped at her which is making me feel miserable because she is the sweetest thing on Earth and she just told me to relax and get some rest in the nicest way. Maybe I'm just being selfish... When I think about what some of you are currently going thru, it makes me mad at myself for worrying for something so stupid. I'm not usually that way, i just thank God that my DH keeps me grounded and looking at the big pic. I tell to myself that verse Philippians 4:6 (Do not be anxious about anything...) I am just crazy to meet my little boy!
Melanie, i am glad your girls are doing great and passing the test with flying colors. It is rewarding to know that everything is paying off. I hope those platelets go up to a safe range for you and the girls.
Jen, are you doing the Enema? I'm considering it. Crossing my fingers for you tomorrow, hoping you have a lot of progress overnight!
Susan, you look great and your two girls are just adorable. Haley looks so proud of her little sis
Allison, sounds like Drew is adjusting a lot better now. I enjoy reading your posts and getting tips from you, Keep them coming
