My Julia is a month old today! Hard to believe. It's gone so fast. oh, I gotta go hug her! She's conked out. FIL took Isabel to pre-k so I GOT TO WO FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!!! `Bout time, huh?! I did 4DS KB. Had to modify some....the side kicks were pretty low so I didn't stretch out anything that I'm not supposed to yet. Man, has my cardio capacity gone DOWNHILL!!! But it felt SO GREAT to get sweaty again!

I'll have to pick up Isabel...which means taking Julia out. oh, do I hate that! that baby DETESTS riding in the truck.. All my girls have. How do parents get the kids who like to ride in cars?!?!?! I'm 0 for 3!

Lorren, 6 months is tons of fun! Enjoy! And the powerwalks sound great! It's cols and rainy here today. Wish it were colder so it would be snow and we'd get stuck oin the house!!!!

Hope everyone is having a great day! Sleep well? decent here. Better get busy - always lots to do! bbl.....

Hi ladies!

Kate--Happy one month, Julia!! :) High fives on the KB! You rock!

Hope everyone is doing well. Charlie is NOT happy. Hiccups have him MAD, must go walk him around. Have a great day, girls!!! :)

Stephanie, Hiccups are happenin' a lot here too for Julia. Hope Charlie gets feeling better! Julia had them a lot too at the end of my pregnancy. How is your incision feeling? Both boys at school today? How's the dropoff/pickup going at pre-k? I love when I can get someone else to do it for me! I'll pick up Isabel today. Won't have to do it again til Monday! Have a great day! or try to anyway!

Great job Kate!! Whoohoo! Just so you feel better my Sara isn't too fond of the car yet. She cries a good bit then finally just gives up and falls asleep, but getting her in the car seat and the first few minutes are awful. Thank goodness DD rides the bus to pre-k and home so I do'nt have to take her/pick her up. It is a pain because I have to walk them to the bus stop and pick them up which is through the park to the street so I have to take Sara for that and that means waking her sometimes.

Stephanie~we have delt w/ the hiccups some here too. Poor baby!

Just hanging out at home today. It's raining so no walk, but I did get 2 miles in each day over the weekend. I just walked laps around the park while the kids played. Sara seemed to like it okay as long as I didn't strap her into the car seat and I just sat her in it swaddled up. Still having this pp bleeding so I don't want to do any more than the walking till it's better. I though about doing some upper body weights, but that was all I did think about it..lol

Hurray! Hurray! MIL just offered to pick up Isabel!!! I don't have to go out today! woooooooooo hoooooooooooooooooooo!

trish, we're lucky w/ the bus for gina- it stops at our house! if julia is sleeping i just take the monitor outside w/ us. that would stink to have to take sara out everyday. im 4 wks pp and the bleeding is basically done -- just some nasty spotting THAT WONT QUIT!! ive thought about ub weights - maybe tomorrow ill DO it! trying to come up w/ a rotation. even just 1part/day. wouldn't have to spend a ton of time, i just want to get back into the daily habit.

Hi Trish!
Kate--Yey for not having to pick up your daughter! Henry only goes to preschool on Tues and Thurs, and I drop him off and pick him up, but I don't have to go in, the teachers come out the the car to get him. NICE! I love going and getting out of the house, especially now that the leaves are so pretty. It's a nice little 10 minute drive in the country to the school. Charlie isn't too fond of the car either. We tried to drive part of the Nachez Trace the other weekend to look at the leaves, and he bawled for half the ride. I want to try again this weekend. He needs to get used to the car. We're going on a trip in Dec. to my in-laws' house, and I want him to be a good carrider. Henry and Oliver have always done pretty well in the car. Henry used to get carsick occasionally, but no more. Yey!

Well, Charlie WILL NOT nap today. He falls asleep in my arms, and I go lay him down, and he wakes up and fusses. Ugh. Guess I'll try the frontpack so I can get some stuff done around here. The dust bunnies are outnumbering us. I HATE dust!!! blech...

The incision is better. My tummy just feels like I've done lots of situps and have DOMS, but sadly it's still big and flabby. :( DH showed me what he did in his abs class at his office's gym yesterday. Planks and obliques like Cathe does where you lay on your side and bring your knees and upper body up. He complained, but I told him I used to LOVE those. I SO miss ab work!!!

Well, better go, Charlie is making a lovely "organic" present for me. Pee-eew!!

stephanie, ugh...nap resistnce....hate it! my dust bunnies say hello to yours!!:p can you do planks??? im sticking w/ those for now. and pilates. about 10 min every other day... dontcha llooooove organic presents??!! maybe hell be more comfy to nap now?

Riley never liked the car til i turned his carseat around to front facing.I guess i can understand how staring at a seat could get boring.
now he doesnt seem to mind car rides as long as hes fed ect..:p

Hello Loren! I look forward to when Julia is a little older can be more easliy entertained by her willing big sisters! That will help out car rides a LOT!

Kate-lucky you not having to take Isabel or pick her up from school. My mornings are crazy b/c I have to drop Wilson off by 8:10 and then have Owen at his school by 8:30. I have to walk Owen in to Pre-K to sign him in:(
Today I had to sit in the car and nurse Ryder after I dropped Owen off b/f I could drive home. Good job on the workout! I decided to try and run on the treadmill today and I did 25min and stopped b/c I thought my uterus was going to fall out:eek: I think that's why you're supposed to wait 6 weeks!

Stephanie-did you get any housework done? I am seriously thinking about hiring a cleaning lady. I had one when Owen was a baby, but I reallly hate paying someone to clean my house.

Hi everyone else!! Ryder justwoke up from his nap so I am off to nurse:)

Hi! I did my first (almost full) workout today-Jari Love's Slim and Lean. I had to keep pressing pause due to a little fellow who would not sleep either (he cried instead). I didn't do the ab portion, though.
My "ab binder" girdle thingee came on Saturday. It is a corset, and it is hard to get all hooked, but it does hold it all in. Now, I don't really believe that it will make me flatter in the long run, but it offers great support, and I am able to wear my non-maternity clothes. I wear it for a few hours each day. I had a c/section, and it is taking a long time for things to look non-pregnant.

Stephanie-Aidan was up from 10:00a.m.-3:00p.m.!!! He'd sleep for about 10 minutes, then wake up with horrendous gas (farting/pooping). Poor little guy. He's sleeping now, though!

Kate-Yeah on the workout. I sold my 4DS on ebay, but now I am sorry I did. I miss the kickboxing one.

Oh, I hear someone waking up...Gotta run!
