Powerstrike M3?

Not really. Not as much as 1 or 2. I was pretty disappointed with 3 - it seemed so watered down from the first two. That's my take. HTH.

NOw, I liked 3 more then 1-2. I liked the fact that the music FINALLY changed and I liked that there were alot more kicks instead of punches.I found that one and two maily did punches.I usuallt grab this one instead of #2 and I gave #1 a way.
But I have heard other people say that they didn't like it as much as 1-2.NOw I have you totally confused.:)

It's definitely a cardio workout as well as a toning workout.
When I first used it, I was a bit disappointed because I felt it was much more basic than previous PS workouts. Then I got into it, and considered the first 15 minutes or so as technique practice (the intensity builds more slowly than in the other workouts).

The camera work is pretty odd at times: the camera operator seems obsessed with Ilaria's armpit sweat and with Patricia's face!

-I think it's odd they chose to do THIS one on DVD, since they may be using its sales as an indication of whether or not other DVD's would do well.

Thanks I just got this one via EBay so I guess I'll find out pretty soon eh?

I'm only familiar with Cathe's style of kickboxing and taebo although I haven't done taebo in years, so I can't really remember about that one :p

So I guess this will be my expieriment. Hmmmm I'm so used to Cathe that anything else seems like a trial to figure if it's up on her level.

Just don't judge Powerstrike by this one workout. It definitely is not as intense as their others (though it reaches that point about 20 minutes in!). I LOVE powerstrike, but some of their best workouts are actually no longer available (cksales used to have them). They were in plain black, blue or red covers, and the camera work and sound were subpar (the earliest ones looked like they were filmed by some 12 year old kid who got a camera for his birthday and wanted to try it out!), but the workouts were FABULOUS!

I have this DVD but don't use it very much. It is cardio but easier than taebo. If anyone wants to buy it from me, I would be more than happy to send it to you.

Thanks,

Kathryn-
I hear you about #3's crazy close-up camera work! Yuck! I never even did the workout - it made me dizzy just previewing the first 10 minutes. It's gone now without having even done it once. You were right about the flaky decision to put #3 on DVD first and the Mo behingd the move - it's totally questionable that the sales of #3 would be a fair indicator of how well the others would do. I do think that the DVD production problems and delays and the subsequent customer service problems thereafter really hurt #3 sales. I've heard nothing about any other new workouts from Powerstrike...And Patricia is now also doing the PUSH program, and I know Ilaria and Patricia do a lot of fitness conventions, but gee it would be great if they would continue to put out workouts together (albeit with the camera person used in 1 & 2 please ;) ). I bet if they put 1 & 2 on a DVD, they'd do a brisk business. They might be surprised.

Yes I would consider it cardio .. I use 1lbs weighted gloves with it
I luv Powerstrike 1 2 3 & Cardio Kicks .. and Janis AND I ALSO LUV
