What is this video like?
I have MIS, PS, and S&H. I like them all for varios reasons, but want something that won't take tons of time and is fun (as fun as can be anyway!)

I have thin arms but have trouble seeing much tone. Would this video be for me?

THANKS

I love this video.MAinly because of the music. It is a really good video at the same time but I don't think that it is any quicker then the videos that you listed. It still takes an hour. There is not alot of bicep work in it and I don't know if that is what your mainly looking for because yousay you have thin arms.
I really enjoy the video and have no regrets in buying it...

I didn't like it at first. I was kind of addicted to S&H so doing PH was a real change! I still like to argue about just how much pain you have to endure just to keep legs decent because PH has a mean squat/plie/lunge section that kills. But it changes my body quick! It pretty much made the legs and arms look thinner and my lower back stronger. I like it a lot now and won't be doubting anything Cathe comes up with ever.
PH is a total body workout that's about an hour. It looks a lot like Body Pump but the pace is slower and the reps lower ... which makes it safer to do. The music isn't as fab as Body Pump but is better than most workouts out there. Love the back music!
Cathe looks fantastic in this video. The lower body portions hurt but there's only 2 songs so it is over quick ... not like LL!!!
There's even an ab section at the end. PH is the kind of workout that you feel good about owning and definitely rounds out a collection. Hope you like it!

This video will define you if you are already thin. It is not like PS or even MIS since the focus is on endurance. For biceps, Cathe uses a 15# barbell. I thought that seemed light. HAH! You do curls for what seems like an eternity! Just completely fatiguing a muscle group before going onto the next. And ditto what Rachel said, the lowerbody work seems brief but boy is it enough. It seems like the music is love it/hate it, but I for one love it! Have fun!

Thanks!

Thanks for your comments. I decided to get it- I just wish it was available on DVD by itself!!!

RE: Thanks!

Oh but the DVD is so great! Sell your MIS on the Fit Prime Forum. Just think you will have Body Max, MIS and PH all on one DVD! The possiblities are endless!!!

RE: Thanks!

I have BMax on VHS which was why I ended up getting PH on tape instead. I'm quite happy with it but just awhile ago was thinking it would have been great to have it on DVD then I could skip and get the lower body done sooner!!! Maybe use the back portion more as an add on to short cardio days ... yada yada yada. See if they offered them individually life would be so perfect. You wouldn't have to shell out so much at just one go. Though I guess you will end up getting all of them eventually. I hope with the new releases they would pair of cardios with total body weights so you get two kinds in one DVD. Like if they would have done PH and Rhythmic step in the same one?

I also didn't like PH at first, but now PH is one of my favorites. At first it didn't seem like it was as tough of a weight tape as others like MIS, PS, S&H, etc.

However, I was overlooking the cardio benefits gained from the PH style of workout. It improves the stamina in the legs. I find the leg portions in PH more difficult than LL, but I may be in the minority here. Those low-ends are killer and there are a lot of them. I get very winded during the leg portions.

I definitely also saw some improvements with this tape as far as definition in the upper body goes.

Good luck!
