Power Squats on C&W.

OK. I did Cardio and Weights last night and I can't do those power squats (I think that's what they are called). I can't get myself turned around enough to get my foot on the step. I'm only 5ft (but I know Cathe is short too and they all make it look so easy). It's only the second time I've had to do those so will I eventually get the hang of it? Anyone else have this problem?

Also, I got my Reebok step for christmas from DH (my other step was getting warped - it's the original club step) and i used it last night and man I love it. It is so stable that I don't have to worry about it moving around on me like my other one. It was kind of funny because we went over to Sports Authority to look at one just so I could see what it was like. It was $79.99 on the Reebok site and Power Systems site and I could get free shipping and no tax so I was going to order it off the internet to save money but when we got to Sports Authority their price said $89.99 so I asked the salesman (who wasn't a day over 18) about the price and told him I thought it was $79.99 he said "Well, I'm not sure but you can have one of these coupons" and it was for 25% off all merchandise so I got the thing for like $65 something. Had to get it!!! I'm so excited to do my other Cathe workouts. I think tonight will be either IMAX or Rhythmic Step.

When I do this workout, I just stay turned the same way. I don't turn around. Then when you go to the other side, it works the other leg, so it all works out ok. I am a born klutz, and I just don't want to fall!!!!!

That is a great suggestion! Much better than mine will be. I was going to say, practice slowly to get a feel for the move. I focus on turning the whole body as one unit instead of focusing on my lower body. Think "turn in mid air, land gently". Engage the abs.

I love these things and they can be done...I'm only 4'11"

I want to add, I like the above posters suggestion better than mine...for the record.

i'm with Lori. this is what i do also and i am 5'6. i don't think height is the problem. my knees just can't take it so i modify by just not doing th flip thing.
