Power Max

I missed my a.m. workout this morning so decided to do Power Max after work. First of all I haven't been doing as much cardio lately meaning I've been doing shorter durations as I've been doing more weight work getting ready for Hardcore :). Second of all I haven't used an 8" step in a long time (like a year) - I always use whatever Cathe uses but have not done any of her older step tapes in a while. Anyway, my workout with Power Max on the 8" step just about did me in! The interesting thing though was that my heart rate was lower then it used to be when I did that workout - I was in the bottom of my target zone where usually I'm at the top. Anyway, it was a refreshing change of pace; I love that Cathe has all these great tapes to keep us challenged! Power Max is still one of my favorites! :) :)

Hey Jo: PowerMax is such an awesome workout! My Kids laugh at the thongs and the set may look a bit dated but this workout always feels fresh and challenging. I really like the music too.....Tone Loc, 'Wild Thing' and Salt 'n Peppa 'Push It'....sooooooo 90's:)

I love Power Max too. I haven't done that one in awhile. Might just have to do that one this week.

I dusted off this one last week and was so happy I did! It was a lot of fun! I also did Step Jam last week which I hadn't in a long time. It's neat to see how far Cathe has come! Susan
 
I did Step Jam today! After Power Max yesterday, I thought I'd do a run through some of my older workouts! I love that workout too. I think tomorrow I'll do Step Fit!

This is surreal. I did Step Fit today & was planning on Step Jam tomorrow! I've had a hankering for Cathe's good old step workouts. I really enjoyed it.

I've been throwing in some of the classics over the past couple of weeks too. I did PowerMax, BodyMax and Step Jam withinthe last 2 weeks. Step Jam was so much fun.
