I missed my a.m. workout this morning so decided to do Power Max after work. First of all I haven't been doing as much cardio lately meaning I've been doing shorter durations as I've been doing more weight work getting ready for Hardcore . Second of all I haven't used an 8" step in a long time (like a year) - I always use whatever Cathe uses but have not done any of her older step tapes in a while. Anyway, my workout with Power Max on the 8" step just about did me in! The interesting thing though was that my heart rate was lower then it used to be when I did that workout - I was in the bottom of my target zone where usually I'm at the top. Anyway, it was a refreshing change of pace; I love that Cathe has all these great tapes to keep us challenged! Power Max is still one of my favorites!
