This morning I reached for Power Max after my own 5 minute warm up. I only did step combo #1 and #2 (about 35 minutes) and cannot believe the workout I got. I burned 373kcal, my HR was almost always between 150-160. I know that Cathe builds her combo's in a more repetative fashion before combining them but every single repeat is a real workout here!(quater hop turns, long hop turns, scissor jumps, etc...)
I just put blinders on for the thongs and try not to hear the old style "woot, woot". But I actually enjoy the old music (Whoomp There It Is)while really working hard on this 8" routine. Even though some of the moves are linear and non-complex, they are extremely effective.
If my memeory serves me correctly, I haven't even worked up to the hard parts yet. Try it for a change, you may be surprised!!
