Power Hour vs. Muscle Endurance

I would like to know the differences between PH and ME. Which one is better to start with? The only strength Cathe workout that I have is the Slow & Heavy series. I want to buy an endurance workout but am undecided between the Power Hour DVD and the Muscle Endurance DVD, as I only have $50 to spend. The PH DVD also offers me MIS and Bodymax, which make it look tempting, but Boot Camp also seems terrific! The decision will be made upon how the ME and PH workouts campare. Please, help.

Hi Mariela! This is just MHO, I like ME over PH but a lot of people seems to like PH better. I love the core work and the music in ME. Sorry not much help but If I had a choice I would Start off with PH just because you have 3 workouts on 1 dvd then later on get ME/BC. Maybe a little help there:) Did you preview the videos?

Personally IMO Power Hour is much more intense of an endurance workout. ME seemed easy after doing Power Hour. I love both though and Bootcamp is just an all around great workout. There are a lot of premix options on ME and Boot Camp as well. I am not sure if this helps though. They are both great. I love MIS and Body Max as well. If you do not have these that would make Power Hour a great choice.

I much, much, much prefer ME to PH. The music is fantastic, the workout is fun and I get just as much of a workout as with PH. If you have to get just one, I say go with ME, you won't regret it.. The only reason I still have PH is because it's on the same dvd as Body Max and MIS two of my all time favorite older workouts.

HTH,
Julia

PS - can you tell I love ME? :+

I do enjoy Power Hour but I prefer Muscle Endurance. I feel like I need to warm-up for Power Hour's warm-up versus Muscle Endurance's warm-up, which feels thorough. As far as intensity and difficulty goes, it's ME that gets my vote for being the toughest. Personally, I'd get the ME/Boot Camp DVD now and the Power Hour/Body Max/MIS DVD later.

- Lisa :)
