power hour /cardio kick

Cathlete
I just completed a 6 week rotation of power hour 2-3xwk and cardio kick 1-3xwk and tread mill or bike for a total of 4 cardio's /wk.
I tend to have a muscular body, but a little too much ab fat. I noticed an improvement in being cut with this combo, but want to change to have variety. Any suggestions?
I did step for the last 9 years, and just took a break for this rotation.
I play tennis 2xwk and fien that I pre fer to strenght train on tennis days because I am not sore if at all until the next day.

Hi, I wanted to know what other tapes and equipment you have, will you be working out mostly at home or at a gym, and how much time do you each day to devote to working out??

Thanks,

Stacy

Hi, do you have the CTX series? This is some serious cardio variety! You get it all - hi/lo, kickbox, step... and the strength segments are similar to Power Hour in terms of lighter weights/higher reps

i have exactly one hour a day. I have a step, bench, free weights, treadmill and semi recumbent bike. I also have a cybex weight machine. occaisionally ican add 15 minutes to my workoutt , buy not more than 2x week. I also feel that I don't strethc enough.
thanks for any suggestions :)

CTX

I don't know, a few weeks maybe? I'm terrible when it comes to rotations. I do one of the series for a few weeks, then change to something else, and sometimes I mix up tapes in the same week. Personally, with CTX, I'll do maybe 2 weeks of it to take a break from the heavier strength workouts that I prefer. Then I'll go back to MIS, PS or S/H. And the cardio segments are a lot of fun. Some are short enough to fit in when your schedule is super busy. I mostly run for my cardio, so usually I'll go for a run, then come back & do the strength segments from CTX. But with circuit max or power circuit, the cardio & strength segments are in circuits, so I'll do the whole tape. Ugh, I'm making this sound very confusing! Hopefully Annette (Aquajock) will respond; I know she's a CTX fan.

Thank you! I do not have the ctx series. I may go to it next. I just committed to doing a 4 week rotation.
M: PS C/S/T & 45" CARDIO
T: PS L/A (PLAY TENNIS)
W: PS B/B/A & 45" CARDIO
TH:BODY MAX UPPER BODY SECTION (PALY TENNIS)
F: CARDIO/ INTERVAL SECTIONS OF BODY MAX
S: CARDIO OF CHIOCE- TREADMILL, BIKE, STEP VIDEO OR CARDIOKICKS

Since I have a VCR and not a DVD I thought CTX might be a pain to work with. Tell me if I am wrong. I am still interested in CTX

VHS vs. DVD

I know what you mean. I don't have a DVD either. You get used to doing a lot of fast-forwarding! If I'm really organized, I'll FF the night before. But most of the time I come back from my run, and FF to the strength portion while I'm stretching and drinking water.

Your current rotation looks really good! Let us know how it went. You're brave for throwing Body Max in there :) but I bet along with PS and tennis, you are going to look pretty darn good for spring!

RE: VHS vs. DVD

Thanks for the reply. Lets hope I keep it up for the 4 weeks. I plan on it since it is already written in my log! keep in touch!
