My lil man’s hair is wild, and it is that way on purpose. I love it messy!

I’ll write more later… gotta run.

Autumn, you are amazing. The fact that you are working out 6 days a week with a newborn and a preschooler is incredible. Going back to work has really taken some of the wind out of my sails....but it is coming back. Last week I managed to workout 3 days...this week has been too busy to breathe...next week I am going to begin my early a.m. workouts once again. IF I wait until afterschool to exercise (I teach 3rd grade), then I know that 101 things will come up and I won't have the time, energy, etc. to push through. Now that Baby Jack is sleeping around 8 hours each night, I am going to retrain my body to getting up earlier for my Cathe Endorphin fix.

For all of the postpartum Mom's out there, I stumbled upon an amazing book this week---"Outsmarting the Female Fat Cell after Pregnancy". It advocates aerobic exercise at least 3-4 days per week PLUS strength training at least 2 times a week....NO DIETING....It has really helped me understand this whole postpartum weight loss problem better. It seems that after I had my daughter (3 years ago) the weight seemed to just fall off....not the case this time. It just takes time!!

Hope everyone is doing well!!

First, thank you re: my babies... I agree with you 100%!! :) Second, thanks for the encouragement! I doubt I would be so dedicated if I were working outside the home. I am debating going back to work. I have an opportunity to go back now, because the nurse practitioner who replaced me quit. I am just not ready. I told them January. :) There is prime position open in one of the private OB/Gyn offices, which would mean I could do so much more, but I love public health. SO, if I go back... I think I will stay in public health... I feel blessed to be able to stay home so I may stay put.

I am in the smae boat with the weight. I think I will pick up the book.
