Hi Everyone.
I am just tried to put my picture on my profile and want to see if it works.
Enjoy your Sunday, and if you are her in Rochester, NY congratulations on a record breaking snowfall for January! I'll be out shoveling...again for my "active day off" of working out!

Thanks Dani! Yours is pretty too. Do they look stretched from side to side? Mine seems to be elongated left to right. How do we fix this?
And, yes the shoveling is great exercise.

It does seem stretched (they all do) but when you click on the user name you can see the normal picture. This is what I do anyway. ;)

I'm not sure how to make the smaller pic look normal.

If you want to make sure your picture isn't distorted, you must crop it to 50 pixels square. If it's not this size, it will be shrunk to fit, and unless it's square, it won't be proportional - hence the stretched look.

If you don't know how to edit your photo, I'd be happy to fix photos for anyone who's interested. For example, here's Judy's picture reworked to fit the space available for the avatar:

My photo is distorted. You can fix it if you want. I guess I could give it a try, but it sounds like a different language. Pixels??

Pixels = picture elements. They are the little elements that comprise a picture. You basically can go into Photoshop and resize it to 50 by 50 pixels or any other unit you want. Yours really isn't that distorted. Judy's was stretched probably because of the way it was cropped. If you go 50 pixels by 50 pixels it's gonna result in a tiny pic in your profile because at the bigger sizes the picture will "pixelate" and you'll see the squares in the photo start to become apparent. I dont think it is possible to have a large pic in your profile and also a 50 pixel by 50 pixel of the same pic in your posts. I could be wrong but not sure....
