Porkloin/Crockpot??

That's so funny! I have one in my crockpot as we speak.

Currently it is in there with a bottle of BBQ sauce...on low for 8 hrs. It will later be shredded and put on buns.

Another good recipe:

2 1/2 cups salsa verde (If you have a Trader Joe's store near you, use theirs -- it's the best!)
1 4 oz can chopped anaheim chilies
3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or 1 lb boneless pork loin
1 14 oz can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 14 oz can white beans, drained and rinsed
Hot, cooked rice
Place 2 cups of the salsa verde in the Crock-Pot. Stir in the chilies. Add meat. Cook on high for 4 hours. Take meat out of Crock-Pot and shred. Add back to Crock-Pot along with remaining 1/2 cup salsa and the 2 cans of beans. Stir and cook on high for 30 more minutes. Serve over rice.

It is easy and good enough for company.

My girlfriend covers it with jerk seasoning and pours a can of coke in there. It's pretty good shredded up on a sandwich.

For short and simple, I put in enough water to 1/2 cover the roast. Add salt and pepper, cut up an onion and throw it in there. Then cook it slow over several hours, until fork tender.

If you like the taste of Onion soup mix or Golden Onion soup mix, you can add half a package for more seasoning.

YUM! YUM!

Dang...you guys are making me hungry and wishing I had a crock-pot. I just made a teryaki marinade for my pork loin and will grill it. BOOOOOring....:) deb
