poor form on one arm rows?

Hi Cathe,

I did GS chest & triceps on Saturday, and my chest is still sore. This morning I did the first cross train segment with back work and when I did the one arm rows, I felt like I was feeling it in my chest. I'm not sure if that's because I'm still sore from the chest work on Saturday, or if I had bad form. Is it possible to be working the chest if the form is bad on one arm rows? And if so, do you have any tips for me?

Hi Beth! Your chest opposes your back which means your chest muscles are stretching/elongating as your arm pulls up the weight to work your back. Anytime you are THAT sore you will feel extreme tenderness when stretching the sore muscle. Once the soreness is gone you should no longer feel this movement in your chest. Take Care!
