PolarF6??

I feel like a total gadget dummy but I got what I wanted for christmas...A polar F6 that I am having such trouble figuring out. The directions seem very vague....Anyone have any pointers?
Anything would be appreciated. I got the heart rate monitor to work but I don't think I recorded my exercise session because I tried to find how many calories I burned and the duration of my workout and could not find it. Anything to make it clearer would be great.!

Here's a great Polar tutorial site that I found which has online videos that walk you through the features of how to use it.
