Polar heart monitor users...

What I wanted to know if anyone out there in the "educated crowd" uses the Polar heart monitors. I started using mine a year ago.
I also wanted to know if anyone else records their readings (i.e., ttl calories...%fat burned of ttl calories...average pulse)on a daily basis.
I am curious to see where I stand in comparison to other exercisers during the month. I have been taking the readings from the monitor every day and recording them in a spreadsheet on my computer at home. I chart the readings. I know what some of you think...this woman is a freak! :-wow I am really not an obsessive compulsive! LOLOLO
I have found that if I keep track of what I do and the calories I have burned that I am far more consistent than if I do not. I guess it is a sort of motivation for me. Thanks for any input you have!

Hi Melissa,
I use my heart rate monitor most of the time, but don't do anything with the readings. I think it's interesting how you chart yours!
I have a Polar M52 and got it a year ago and had a lot of problems - sent it back THREE times because it wasn't working right. It seems fine now.

I don't think your a freak at all

I just started writing what workouts out I do each day and how many calories I've burned. I don't keep track of %fat burned or anything like that. I know I am going to enjoy looking back and seeing how consistant (or not consistant) I am with my workouts and how hard I am working with the same videos over time.
