Polar F6 vs F11 or ???

I've finally decided I have to jump on the HRM bandwagon, and I'm getting overwhelmed trying to decide which one to get. For those of you familiar with the Polar F6 and F11, is the F11 worth the extra $50? Or does the F6 work just as well without the extra bells and whistles? Do I NEED the extra bells and whistles?

Any insight would be helpful. Thanks a bunch!

I don't know much about the F11, but I have an F6 and love it! It has all that I need without being too complex or having functions I will never use. It measures my HR and calories, I can set it to measure by % or BPM or in Zones. What I love about the F6 is that I can download my workouts to polarpersonaltrainer.com and keep my workouts logged and tracked and look at my progress without having to manually create a spreadsheet. That's all I need it to do! I use it for everything, running, step, weights, golf, cycling, etc. It also shows me what percentage of my workout is in the fat burning range per workout.

I know a lot of the girls have the F4 which is different only in that you can't download the workout data. I'm very happy with my F6. If the F11 measures pace and distance during running, that might be the only reason I would have gotten that one, but I wasn't running at the time. I now have the Nike Sport Kit for that.

Hope this info is helpful!

Thanks, Tricia! This was very helpful. Sounds like the F6 does everything I'd need it to do at a cheaper price.

I'm glad you like your F6. You've helped me make up my mind, and you've also saved me some $$$.:D (or helped me spend some, depending on how you look at it!!!)

Thanks again! You ladies rock...
