update
we found out last that he has a fractured voice box and will need a tracheonomy(sp?). Also the brain looks good, there was minimal bleeding. He ha s a lnog way to go, physical therapy, ect. but for now everything is stable. I told him I put him on this forum, and his Cranial pressure came down! Your prayers are working, thanks!

Our friend is in surgery right now, and I'm hoping for the best. Tomorrow they will remove the internal cranial pressure monitor and try to wake him up. They reduced his sedation this morning and he was trying to reach up to pull out the breathing tube. Can't imagine what he is going thru. Thanks again for your prayers Kay
