Please more cardio....

Hi Cathe,

I just want to say I am interested in your new series.

However, I miss your cardio.

I have loved the cardio in 4 Day Split so much.

I do not understand how I can do just weight training for 60 days and not do cardio.

I am sort of confused about the new series and how cardio will factor in the plan.

If I'm not mistaken, the workouts Cathe announced a few months ago will still be produced. Someone asked about the future of the boxing workouts ( I think she goes by WD) and the response she got from SNM was that workout would still be produced, so I'm assuming that Slow & Heavy II and the other workouts announced are still being planned. The only cardio not going to be produced in the near future would be cardio under STS. Cathe or SNM, please correct me if I'm wrong.
 
I had understood that the STS system was to replace the idea of S&H 2. Am I wrong? She hasn't mentioned the S&H 2 idea for a while.

I also understood that Cathe would be producing future cardio workouts both under the STS umbrella system of gradual progression, and also as individual, stand alone workouts. These will be scheduled after the initial STS weight work is filmed.

I did not come away from reading the info on STS in the blog with the idea that we were to do no cardio for the 60 days duration. Who would suggest such a thing? I assume that we "educated crowd" are to use our common sense and insert 3-4 cardio workouts from Cathe's existing DVD library into the week around the STS weight training.

That is my understanding too. I can't imagine Cathe would not want us to do any cardio for that long and I'm sure once the series is released, she'll post a rotation or at least a guide of some kind so we know how/when to work in the cardio.

That is my understanding as well. The STS is a development from the Slow and Heavy 2 concept. And the upcoming boxing series has been expanded as well, including kickboxing and mixed martial arts.

I definitely read a post by SNM saying that for now, we could use our other Cathe cardio with the STS weight workouts, and that future STS cardio workouts would be coming out.
