TOOL HAS A NEW ALBUM COMING OUT ON MAY 2ND AND THEY'RE COMING TO TORONTO ON MAY 16TH OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG

Yes, I'm 42 years old. Shut up;)

Ok, Shelley, consider yourself indulged. I even logged back in just to LOL and say I'm happy to hear you are happy about anything.:) Do it for yourself, go to the concert.

i don't know who Tool is, other than me, for not knowing who Tool is :D

I'm happy for ya though :p

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming ‘Wow - what a ride!’ — Peter Sage

I am excited that Shelley is excited and I want you to get tickets and go. Now, who/what is Tool:eek: :p

Michele

P. S. this would count;)

Tickets go on sale on Saturday and I will be driving to Rochester and it will sell out in about 3 minutes as it's at a small venue and I have Sophie that night.

I'm happy just to get the album and that should count too, right?;)

Shelley,

Can you have someone get the tickets for you?

BTW the album counts, but the concert would so much more count.:)

I agree with Melody. The album counts but the tickets would be sooo much better. Can you buy tickets online?

Michele

The other thing is that I wouldn't have anyone to go with. My SO won't see them again. I think I Tooled him out with three times:)

No, Susan, you're not out of the loop. I'm pretty sure that you're in the majority.

They're not Canadian, they're from LA, actually.:)

They're my fave band in the entire world. I sound like I'm 16, but nobody else is like them. This is their first new album since 2001.

So what in the heck do they sing? I've heard of them but have no clue what they sing! I'll bet I've heard thier songs but didn't know it was them! LOL :7

Tickled for ya-but don't know who they are.I might know a song but not know who sings it:*
p.s I am 34 and listen to my sons music:eek:

Even if I told you what they sing, you would NEVER have heard them. The only station they get the slightest bit of radio play on would be independent/alternative stations, and then probably not much during peak listening hours.

They have a huge, rabid fan base though, and they've sold bazillion sof albums. The lead singer has about the best voice in rock today. IMO;)

OK, another Tool?-never-heard-of-'em-er here. I asked DH, the instructor of college aged men (boys?). He seemed worried that I'm spending a weekend with a Tool fan. Should I be scared? I'm looking forward to an education, Shelley.
