Hi, I was wondering some of you would help me decide if I can take this on. I have been doing several Bootcamp style workouts and I am in pretty could shape. I do have some basic knowledge of free weight lifting, form etc. My dream has always been to be able to do something like this with free weights etc. Would I be crazy to start with this program since I have not done any of Cathe workouts? It just seems so awesome I would love to start here! I do not have equipment other than some hand weights. Could you tell me everything I would need to do this program??? I would like to pre order to save but I would kinda like to know what my other out of pocket expenses will be to have all equiptment. Also I have read some of you viewed clips of the workouts. I can't find them. Could you tell me how to view them?

I would appreciate any of your opinions.

Thanks

If you are interested in lifting weights this should be an awesome program to start with, even if you have never done Cathe before. The DVDs will include pictures of what muscles are being worked for each exercise and extensive form pointers. The entire program is laid out so that you always know which workout to do, and with a little upfront time investment, the website will calculate how much weight is appropriate for each exercise in an easily printable format.

The standard Cathe equipment will be used: a full size step, stability ball, resistance band, medicine ball, adjustable barbell, and various dumbells. The new step will be used as a weight bench, so that can be substituted, if using a bench the new incline risers are recommended. The final mesocycle of legs will need weights that are too heavy to lift over your head (b/c legs are stronger than shoulders). There will be an option of two seperate workouts for this, first, you can do a plyo type option only with the above equipment. Second, you could use either a squat rack or weighted vest to get the weights heavy enough to work your legs with heaviest weight. A set of single pound adjustments for the dumbells and barbells would also help.

There is a VERY brief look at the STS series on youtube. There are also many pictures posted on the blog. Clips for each workout should be up within a few weeks (hopefully), and you can view a list of each exercise in every workout by using the new workout manager.
Remember that the pre-sale ends soon!
