Please Help! Weight Loss Rotation for Intermediate

Hello,

This is my first post here and I need your expertise. I've already done a search of all the forums but don't really understand how to make a rotation for myself.

I'm 41, 5'2" and about 145 pounds so I'm about 25 pounds over where I feel best. This is extremely depressing for me, and I am trying to attack the problem through a healthy diet and exercise program. I'm not looking for a "Biggest Loser" sort of result but an overall loss of fat and strength gain would be fantastic and make me feel a lot better about myself. It's hard to not being able to wear anything in my closet.

My level of fitness is such that I can do C&W in its entirety BUT without risers and only 5, 8 and 10 pound weights. I also can do Step Blast and SJP premixes. I've ordered the following:

All Gym Styles
Butts & Guts
KPC/Legs & Glutes
Boot Camp/ME
Power Hour/MIS/Body Mx
Supersets/Push Pull
Rhythmic Step/IMax/MIC

Oh and I love to walk/run and am restarting a 3x a week program with that too.

I'd really appreciate any ideas you could share.

Thanks!

Michelle

Michelle,

I mainly wanted to respond to your post because we are so similar in size. I am 5'1" and about 142 pounds. I actually feel really great where I am, size and weight wise (I am about an 8).

It looks like you've ordered some great DVDs. I am no good at writing rotations, so I will leave that to someone else. But it looks like you've got a really great start with you run/walk program.

How many days of cardio do you want to do per week, and how many days of weight training? What is your level for strength training?
