Please Help Me Spend My Money

Miss Lee

Cathlete
I'm trying to decide between the Gym Style workouts and Pure Strength. At one time I was advanced in strength training workouts but not anymore. I know it won't take me long to get back to that, but I was wondering about where to start. I've been trying, like many of you, to gradually add to my Cathe collection. The only strength workouts I currently own are the Power Hour DVD and the Pyramids.

One point of view I've heard is that GS is the more advanced version of PS and so no need to have both.

TIA for your opinions.:)

Oh, spend your money on YOU!!! OK, I was going to say I'll take Muscle Max AND the Gym Styles, thank you very much :p:p;-) ;-)

Hi Michele!

I love the GS for strength gains and visible results and DOMS. If you are not quite up to your original lifting strength, you can just go lighter in the beginning.

The GS's are my fave split weight w/o and MM is my fave total body weight w/o.

Now that said, I don't have PS so I cannot compare. Maybe the question is whether you want another total body weight w/o or a split routine weight w/o? Make that decision and then decide?

I love adding to confusion.;-)

I vote for the GS series, Micheleemoomoo :) Can't beat the hard & heavy lifting mixed w/ the other w/o you have. It's killer and it's awesome!

Well all right then! GS it is. Thank you all so much for helping me deplete my savings--lol!

Here's what I'm ordering:

Aaaahhh, I feel so much better now that the decision is made. :)

You know, I have been having a lot of headaches recently. I wonder if there's a connection? Probably not--I may have ordered them but I'm still dreading them:eek: :7 .

Nice choices Michele. I just want to add that I got great results with PS series in 1999 and I put it in my rotations periodically to mix things up. I also have done the GS workouts qutie a bit. I was in better shape when I started GS so visable gains were not very noticeable.

Any way I hope you enjoy them all, but they will be the love/hate kind of enjoyment we all seek around here!
