Please Help Get Back on Track

I am having real trouble getting back to a consistant workout routine. I am gaining weight eventhough I have basically cut out all sugar and white rice, pasta and bread from my diet. (I am VERY frustrated)

What I need is a proven routine (there are so many to sift through) that will help me lose weight and help my rear that is getting out of control. I can only devote an hour each day as I am a mom and work full time. I have all of Cathe's videos and can hit the gym 1-2 a week. I am not a beginner.

I really appreciate your help. I am thinking of going back to a 40-30-30 way of eating unless someone has a better idea. I own BFFM but it has been a long time since I have read it. Weight does not come off me very easy. I did lose weight 10 years ago but I used diet pills and starved myself. Bad, I know, but it worked.

I'm new to Cathe workouts, but not new to working out. I used to consider myself advanced... exercise was as natural to me as breathing!

After I met my husband, the process of planning a wedding, buying a house, etc. came to the top of my priority list, as well as spending all of my time with my soul mate and our family of cats and a dog! :) I slacked in the working out department and suffered the consequences! (weight gain, grrrr!) I too seem to have trouble keeping the pounds off, even when eating completely healthy!

One of my personal problems in patience! It takes time to lose the pounds, time and dedication. I think any routine is a "proven routine", as long as you stick with it! Especially Cathe's workouts! Just look around this forum at all the success stories. There is also a "rotation" forum that might help guide you with your workouts. I'm in the process of putting together a rotation for myself and hoping some of the members here will give me some advice as well! I also only have about an hour per day to workout, but that is more than enough time!

I don't know what the 40-30-30 way of eating is - is that carbs/protein/fats? Please don't go the diet pills/starvation route. I'm sure it's tempting because it worked, but as you cleary know - not healthy!

Stick with clean eating and a Cathe rotation and give yourself at least 4-6 weeks for results (that's just my personal opinion as I know change doesn't happen over night) - I'll be your cheerleader if you want encouragement, I could use some myself!

Hang in there! I know how frustrating it can be. I don't have any weight to lose, but I can certainly relate to "falling off the workout wagon" and becoming obessed with my body.
