-I know what it feels like for my muscles to NOT be able to lift a certain wt. I know when that happens, that I need to lower the weight.
-And, I know what it feels like to work my muscle so hard, that I feel a deep BURN while doing the movement. I can feel that the muscle is fatiguing, way beforehand.
But what is this that I'm feeling in Gym Style Chest & Triceps (the Chest segment)? I can't explain it-
I didn't feel any burn. Nor did I "feel" tired. Nor did I get a sweat going (as I do with Slow & Heavy). I did reduce wts a few times, as I do everytime I try a Cathe dvd for the first time. But, I never really felt I was getting a super hard workout...at least, while I was working out. Then, all of a sudden, I went to try one more rep....and NOTHING. I couldn't do it. I can't explain it. I wasn't sore. It's like I just hit a wall or something. My muscles were totally mush.

So, what do you call this, when your muscles just give out, w/o your feeling "sore" or "overly worked out". ? And how is this going to affect my muscles differently vs the "burn" I feel with the S&H and PS series?
I found the tricep w/o to be similar but not as severe with the muscle fatigue (my triceps are pretty ripped, whereas my chest muscle strength is pretty pathetic. lol).
Overall, I really really liked GS Back & Biceps. I didn't care for GS Legs. And I don't know what to make of Chest & Triceps -- it's an interesting feeling. I liked the exercises, but am not sure what they're going to do for my upper body, compared to the other dvds. The only negative on Chest for me was the gazillion pushups Cathe has in this series' opening -- they made me cringe. LOL
