Plateau Busting Workouts

Cathe, I'm currently doing your August rotation for the plateau busting and I'm curious as to how often you think a person should implement something like this into their workout routine? It seems as though it would really help you in all other aspects of fitness. Do you think 3 times a year or 4 times? Oh and I hope your doing well. Thank you
 
I'd love to know, too! I had great results with the August rotation but I know I can't do it continuously. I'd love some recommendations as to how often one could do this.
 
Hi Mic! Whenever your body gets too used to your fitness routine and you find it is not responding the way it once did to your typical workouts, put this type of a rotation in to shake things up. You can also shock your body in a "milder" fashion by doing subtle changes to one or two of your weekly workouts on a given week (ie: include sprints in one of your running sessions, change the order of your weight work exercises, do a high intensity circuit workout in place of an all step workout etc).

Thanks for getting back to me, I appreciate the fast response. I'll take that advice, although you do come up with some great rotations, maybe you could put another one into the rotation cycle sometime, it was tough but I was really challenged. Thanks it was just what the doctor ordered to get me out of a slump. Thanks again.
