Planks: A Love Poem

Aquajock

Cathlete
Give thanks to planks
For they flatten your tummy
Even if you're a mummy
For the fourth time.

Give thanks to planks
For they melt the pooch
And help you go poop
After you've paid your dime.

The End.

After I read the above to my husband last night, he wanted to contribute his own poems to my friends here on the forums:

ODE TO WHAT YOU DO IN THE LOO

Bladder loaded
Kidneys hurt
I really gotta
Take a squirt.

Bladder loaded
Woe is me
I really gotta
Take a p**.

ODE TO THE RELICS OF THE AGES

In the gloom
Of a mummy's tomb
Was an inscription
Written in Egyptian
About a guy
Five feet high
Reading "Playboy" magazine.

As though I don't have trouble enough remaining still during planks! Thanks~now I'll be there, shaking like a leaf, I'll remember your husbands "ode" and I'll crash face first onto the carpet! :)

You 2 are too cute! :)

Okay Annette, I mentioned in an earlier thread that you had a fan club. I want to make clear that this does not include your ability to write poetry!!!!

Keep doing those pushups, ya here!!!!!

Briee

(I hope you know I'm smiling, we do so enjoy your posts :), :), :), :) :) )

Remember that laughing also works the ab muscles (the deep transverse abs). The combo of planks and laughing would surely make for tight abs!

RE: Censorship . . .

I must confess, I had to edit and censor Phil's second poem; the last line actually referred to adult male self-abuse. Gotta know your audience . . .
