PHA Cardio Fusion

Just completed PHA Cardio Fusion. I must admit, I've been so busy lately that I haven't really been reading the details of this workout series. But when I saw PHA I knew I had to order. I love Cathe's PHA workouts and this did not disappoint. It was the right amount of time and packed a punch. Yep, I worked up a sweat. I prefer a shorter workout these days, so this was perfect for me. I also enjoyed the core workout. I am not a fan of core work. However, if its short, I can be persuaded to do it. :)). Well, I did it and can see myself doing this workout often. Thanks Cathe. This was fun and just what I needed on a below freezing day.

Finished this workout for the first time today.

Definitely a circuit-style endurance workout with PHA layering (upper, lower, cardio). It's a good quickie workout - Cathe knows how to get your heart rate up when she's only got 30 minutes to do it. The cardio "blasts" are pretty brief. Just kind of enough to kick the heart rate up, but doesn't really keep you on the higher end for very long, though the compound weight moves kept my heart rate pretty steady in my aerobic zone the rest of the time.

Not quite sure how often I see myself using this. Will probably slip it in on days where I'm particularly looking to do metabolic work and want to keep it short. Emphasis is definitely on cardio with this workout - strength not so much. Thus the title... PHA Cardio Fusion.
 
Did this again recently. Very effective short workout. Yes the core segment caught my attention too. Loved it. This one will be visited often ❤️
 
Second time through this workout - still does a good job keeping the heart rate up. I am finding, however, that I don't care for the fast-paced deadlifts into racked squats. After a few of them my form starts to suffer on the deadlifts and I start feeling it in the wrong way in my back. Will either significantly lighten the weights with this, or not keep pace with Cathe and go slower.
