Pet Peeve of the day..grrr....

Grrr...another load of dark clothes clean and covered in micro bits of facial tissue...x( x( It's the little things that make me crazy some days.... So what's your pet peeve of the day?

Im not sure if this would qualify as a pet peeve or not but, yesturday i was on the way home from school, driving on a local interstate and my mind started wondering-I happen to look to the right just as my exit passes x( errrrrrr, frustrating!
I had a urge to cut through the middle underneath a bridge}( but luckly my good sense kicked inn,LOL

A permanent pet peeve I have is listening to people chomping on their gum and even worse, making those popping noises. This is what my brother would call "hog ass" behavior. :7

Telemarketers, people who stop me in the middle of the mall to sell me something, and especially people who come to my door selling something (except for the Girl Scouts selling cookies). I have clear windows in my front door and I want a new solid door with a peephole so I can see who it is before they see me.

People who pull out right in front of me on the road and go 5 miles an hour....when there's NO ONE BEHIND ME!!!!

Amen to that!

And this morning, the moron who was driving 5 mph under the speed limit.... IN THE FAST LANE!!! ARGH!!!!

And people who don't know how to merge... and traffic in general. I should move to Nome, Alaska.

If only I was the only one on the road....ahhhh, wishful thinking.

I swear, no one knows how to drive except me. ;) :p

Allison

Someone did that to me yesterday, at 5:30 in the a.m. There must have been an onslaught of traffic behind me I was unaware of. ;-)

Pumpkin spice donuts at Tim Horton's. Oh man, they're so good! Why WHY must they have those every friggin October!!!? WHY!???:p

Happening to me again right now. Closed office door b/c I can clearly hear cracking, snapping & a variety of other chewing noises from a woman sitting 30 feet from me. x(

Oh, Laura, I forgot about that chick! Dear god, is she still there? Ugh. Time to send that temp on her way.

Allison

I'm waiting for the plumber who came last week to fix my toilet, charged me $200 and DIDN'T fix it AND was supposed to come yesterday. After waiting for three hours, I called, the plumbing company receptionist said, "Oh, he got hung up on a job." I said, "A phone call letting me know that would have been nice." and she said, "Oh, honey, I didn't even think of that."

My pet peeve: Thoughtless people.

(Do you KNOW how many Cathe videos I could have bought with $200? GEEZ!!!)

I get annoyed by people who leisurely walk diagonally across a parking lot while I'm driving behind them. They wouldn't walk that way across a street!

And the tissue in the wash always gets me too!

That's a lot of driving pet peeves. It would be a logistical nightmare but I think 99% of people could benefit from a driver's test about every 5 years. When I lived in a major centre it drove me crazy that people would risk other's lives and limbs to gain a car length and be the first to the next red light..WTH!

Michele! I honestly didn't know that there were Tim Horton's in the States. I've never tried a pumpkin spice donut and vow never to try one. It's always that first one that creates the addiction}(

UGH! I want to live where you live! Where I am people most certainly do walk that way when crossing the street.x(

Not only is she still here, but more than 2 hours later she's still working the same damn piece of gum as if it bit her in the butt & she's getting revenge! EW! Dontcha think her jaw's tired by now?
x(

She goes to lunch at noon, maybe then I can get a respite, open my door & get a little air in here!
