Good morning fitness buddies. I slept last night!!! I didn't get up until 5:15 and will start work at 6. Those 1 a.m. mornings are awful!

Anyway, yesterday HSTA for the first time. LOVED IT!

Today is RS on the rotation but I did this on the Sunday I was suppose to since it was my first day back from vacation, so will do somthing else today, just not sure what.

Tomorrow is the first day of the December rotation it calls for PP which I don't have. I believe I will do the PUB/PLB bonus combo which is 1 hour long.

Will check in later to let y'all know what I decided to do today.

I will be doing cardio and abs today.

Tomorrow I start a rotation...I have yet to decide WHICH ONE :p ...but really, I promise I will start one tomorrow!:+

Mariangeles, how do you like slim series? Are you seeing any results? I have heard it is super boring but if it works I would consider purchasing it! Do tell!:)

Jane, happy to hear that you got sleep!:)

Good Morning Fitness Friends!

HOORAY Jane! I'm so glad you got a good night's sleep! That makes all the difference, doesn't it??
Also am glad that you were happy with HSTA. I like that one too.

Yesterday was a rest day for me and I enjoyed it!
This morning I rode my exercise bike for an hour.

Have a great Sunday everyone!:D

Hi Jane,Fit mom and everyone who post later.

Jane good luck with the December rotation.

Wendy, I like all the BB products I have. I love the SS and this is my second round of the Slim Series slim training rotation. I had great results after my first round especially in my lower body. Debbie Siebers uses light weights and lot of reps and she uses the resistance band in two workouts (MIx it Up and Tear it Up).Lot of people think the SS is boring but it works¡¡¡. The workouts are very similar but SS can certainly be as advanced as you want to make it!.I don't find these workouts easy, I use 4.5 pounds of weight and I am feeling challenged.I find SS to be just as tough as a Cathe workout. Not cardio- wise, but definitely in the muscle endurance dept. All SS workouts contain leg work (even "Cool it Off," the recovery/stretch workout, has some knee stablization exercises), and one, "Firm it Up," is all lower body. The music is boring but there is a music off option.

I have just done Tear it Up and I am sore. It is one of the two 78 minutes workouts. The 78 minutes workouts are Shape it Up and Tear it Up and they are my favorite of the series. }( }(

Hi Everyone and happy sunday!

Wendy-I think you would get great results with the SS. I agree with everything Mariángeles said. It is a great endurance based workout and it really slims the lower body. I add cardio to it and I add heaviier weifgted upper body workouts to it. I think that Mariángeles does too from reading her posts. I find the workouts move fast and time flies by! Mariángeles I am with you on thinking this is a gooe series! I think anyone who has a tendency to bulk in the lower body would benefit ftom tthese workouts.

Jane-I am glad you got some sleep!
Becky-Are you ready for christmas? Seems like forever since I have had a chance to chat with you all in a more personal manner.

Kali if you see this please try and reach me today!

Thanks Mariangeles and Terri! I am tempted to buy this series as I DO tend to bulk up in my legs when I use heavy weight!

One more question!!!:)

I purchased and tried Slim in 6 a few years back...all I can say is UGH! I hated it! I also felt like I was spinning my wheels and nothing was happening.

How is the slim series different from Slim in Six? I THINK Slim Series is all weight work while Slim in Six was primarily cardio with SOME weight work. Am I correct?

Wendy-I have never used the slim in six so I am not sure, Slim Series is a lot of weight and high repetitions workout and is suppose to keep you in your heart rate zone but I don't think it does so I add cardio to it. Mariángeles may have done the first series so maybe she will answer. I also love the ab work in SS as it is standing aand floor abs. Really shook up things for me and as you all know Mariángeles and I are hardcore exercisers!!! :)

Good morning everyone,

Today I started the Janurary '04 New Year's Rotation, so I started with BodyMax---Boy, that's a long one isn't it? it's a great calorie burner!

Have a great Sunday:),

Good day everyone! I did the first premix from hardcore extreme (the circuit one) and CM#1. I enjoyed it. I usually get sooo incrediby sweaty for circuit workouts that it detracts from the actual exercises, but today wasn't bad. I think because it's colder in my house, Phyllis

Thanks Terri!:)

I just finished the first 2 combos of Step Max for cardio and then I did KM Leg Drills and Step Heat abs.

I have decided that today is the first day of a new rotation for me...homemade this time around! I'm going for freestyle. I've never tried it and all of this talk about SS has me wanting to give it a shot! :)

This is what I've come up with:

Sun: 30 mins any cardio, L/B, abs
Mon: 30 mins kickbox cardio, L/B, U/B
Tue: 30 mins any cardio, L/B, abs
Wed: 30 mins kickbox cardio, L/B, UB
Thu: 30 mins any cardio, L/B, abs
Fri: 30 mins kickbox cardio, L/B, U/B
Sat: REST

I'm sure the cardio time will vary some but this is my basic idea for now!

Have a great day!:+
