Good morning everyone out in Catheland:

I got up at 4:45am and did Gilad on FitTV. I taped some of their new "All Star Workouts" and some look pretty fun. I did Patrick's ball routine the other night and didn't think I got much of a workout, but I must've used some 'old' muscles that haven't been used in a while because I felt it the next day.

Tonight after work I will do Petra's cardio/weight mix on FitTV and see how that goes. :)

Not much going on this weekend, I am done Christmas shopping and don't have to work at the bar. DS has his church Christmas concert on Sunday, but otherwise just bake Christmas cookies, I suppose.

Good Morning everyone and hi Marcia!

I taped those workouts too , and am thinking of giving Petra's a try this morning along with 200 walking lunges and abs.
Yesterday I did step from MIC & weights from bodymax for a good hourlong workout. :)

I haven't seen Jane here yet today and I know she was hit by an ice storm yesterday and lost power! Hopefully it's back on now or will be soon!!!

Becky, I'm back!! I just got power back at 20 til 7 this morning!!! We lost power about 2:30 yesterday afternoon. NOT FUN!! Becky, I did my entire meal on the side burner on my gas grill, a lot of running back and forth but I got it done. I went to bed at 6:20 last night and slept until 6 this morning. I'd say I'm caught up on my sleep.

No workout yesterday, not even the walking lunges, I was so disgusted from the power loss.

I have DD's birthday party tonight, she will be 23 next week, so I don't know what I'll get done today. I'll get it caught up somehow, I always do!!!

Well, to the shower and then got to get to work!! The phone line I work on that I listen to the doctor's dictation on is downx( so I'm having to work on my home line.

I'll be glad when this mess is over with. Us North Carolinians don't handle this kind of weather well!

Jane, I'm glad your power is back on. That sounds like a major inconvenience! Today, I did Step Works and a 15 min run on my treadmill.

Are you going to tell your dd that you went to bed at 6:20? I think I'll tell mine and then maybe she'll stop making fun of ME!!:p

I just finished 200 walking lunges, and I did Petra's AllStar workout from FitTV. During commercials I did abs, so I am done with my workout.

Good morning everyone.

Today is my office xmas party, catered lunch then we go out to a favorite mexican place for some serious happy hour stuff. This will be a fun day!

I did Franny All Out hi/lo and ab hits, about 75 minutes in all. HSC on tap for tomorrow, then Coremax 1 and Stretchmax 1 on Sunday. Have a great weekend!
 
Becky, I think DD has been getting caught up on her sleep too since she didn't have school yesterday. She slept til 11 in the morning!!

Today is an optional teacher's workday so she is waiting until about 10 to go in. By then it should be above freezing, hopefully. It is 9:15 now and still 28 degrees!! She called her principal and she told her to wait until she felt it was safe to drive. She doesn't live far from the school thank goodness.
 
Yippe, I just finished MIC step and 200 walking lunges. I didn't even have to rest during the lunges, did them all at one time which simply amazed me!!! My legs are really responding to Cathe's rotations more so than just when I was doing workouts randomly choosing them on my own.

I don't know if anybody else is out there at 9:45 tonight but I wanted to post that I'd done my w/o!!

I slept 12 hours last night so who knows when I'll go to bed tonight!!
 
Jane, you slept 12 hours!? HOLY COW! That's amazing! Good for you!!! Or maybe it's not so good! lol ;)

Anywho...what did I do today....

Step Jam on a 6" step
PLB up premix w/light weights/omitted floor work section
25 extra weighted lunges per leg
PUB abs but traded up the stability ball planks for planks on the floor as I am horrid at planks to begin with! :eek: LOL

Wendy, sounds like a pretty good mish mosh there. You are really mixing it up, your workouts are interesting and sound very effective!

Yes, I went to bed at 6:20 last night, nothing else to do, we lost power at 2:30 yesterday afternoon from the ice storm and didn't get it back until 20 'til 8 this morning (I think I'd post 20 til 7 somewhere) bit it was 20 til 8. Anyway....... I slept until 6 this morning. I was wiped out though from getting up the previous three days at 3:15 to start work at 3:30 and working ten hours a day. I needed the sleep!!

Sounds like you definatley needed the rest but I just hope this doesn't start a bad schedule for you now where you are up way too late for days now....

I'm really having fun with my work outs! I have lots of room to play around and come up with all kinds of work out combos. One of my goals is to firm but slim down my thighs and it's working! My abs are lookin' pretty hot too if I may say so myself!;) Not because they are "ripped" but because my stomach is flatter than it's ever been in my life!:+
The best part is that I have accomplished all of this and I'm still 5 pounds HEAVIER than I was when I got pregnant but I LOOK better! YEAH! :7 :7 :7

Sorry...I guess it's not becoming of a person to "toot" thier own horn like that but I'm excited! Can ya tell? ;)
