Personal Goals check in/Saturday,Sept.10,2005

Good morning Ladies.

I did good yesterday. The worst thing I had was a small piece of stick pepperoni and I had a salad about 9pm. No carbs after 3pm tho so all in all it was a good day.

Tomorrow I weigh and measure. Last week was TTOM and I gained 2lbs. they came off by Wed. but I still have another 30 lbs. to lose by New Year's so I hope I can start losing again! That would be a really good thing!

Well I hope everyone is sticking TO IT this weekend! Stay focused Ladies!

I did good yesterday with my cals and kept to good foods BUT I allowed myself to get VEEERRRRY hungry before eating my final meal of the day. We were out and about and I did not have an "emergency" snack on hand. My bad. x( I was quite unhappy by the time I was able to eat and felt yucky the rest of the night even after I ate. :-(

Kali, good job and best of luck losing 30 by New Years! You can do it! :7
 
Hey kali- I will start this personal goals checkin today. I will have to start with today because yesterday was a total bust! So I will start my so sweets today. I will take only one day at a time.

good morning, Kali, Wendy, Kim! How are you all doing???

Yesterday was awesome as far as sugar goes. That is FOUR DAYS OF NO SUGAR! :7 :7 :7 I am feelin' good! :) However, (there is always one of those, aren't there?) I ate a piece of pizza last night before bed even though I wasn't hungry. It smelled good and I am a sucker for melted cheese. I didn't even blot the grease off. It was gooooooood. (does this sound like a remorseful and repentant soul??? :p ) That is my only mess up in four days, so I can't really complain.

I tell you what, though. This no sugar thing is awesome. I can already see the lines in my abs and it has only been four frickin' days! :D And my energy is already in abundant amounts and I need less sleep - already! Anyone else noticing any changes?

Hi Ladies I did good all day yesturday .Except I had to try out my new Microwrave popcorn popper .Wow I love it only a tiny salt on it LOL . I'm thinking its not that bad though !!! No idea how many calories are in popcorn popped without oil !!!.... anyway ,So I'm kinda bummed .First time I put on Jeans since last spring and they are tight right above my knees .Ive been so proud of my definition in my legs now what??? LOL Ummmm Maybe some deep knee bends LOL .Oh I know I just got to use to my shorts and my jeans just Feel tight LOL.Oh gees TTOM is like in 2-4 days !!! I'm scared LOL
 
Today is the 11th but I thought I would add in here ... I did good yesturday until about bed time and my hubby came in with fun size butterfingers darn it I ate one !!!! I just soooo dont want any sugar !!! It makes me mad !!! Oh well today is anotherday . At least it was only one .Why do I do that I know what it tastes like !!!!!Ummm I'm noticing a pattern here !

Mary at least you only had one. Tell DH to stop bringing that stuff in the house, or tell him to sneak them in! Don't let him sabatoge you!! :7

Well I weighed and measured today. Since July 1st I have lost 21 lbs.; 5" off my waist; 3" off my hips; 3 1/2" off my thighs and unfortunately almost 3" off my chest.
So yes Ladies, cutting out the SUGAR and clean eating definatley works along with working our butts off with Cathe. It's all good.

I'm not bragging. I just want anyone who's struggling to know that this works. :)

SSSUUUUUURRRRRRREEEEEE you're not bragging, Kali! :p :p :p Actually, YOU have EVERY RIGHT to BRAG, girl so go for it!!!! :)

I am doing good. Went out to dinner last night and I'm sure what I ate was far from perfect but I only ate the sandwich and did not eat the fries that came with it or dessert and I left a bunch of cals unused intentionally so that I didn't have to worry too much. Back to reality today and I am doing fine so far...ofcourse it's still early and I have to deal with dinner at SIL's tonight so we shall see what happens. :p
 
Kali,oh I tell him but he does it anyway .I tell him he's mean too LOL .I think he does it on purpose to sabatoge me !!!! Sometimes it makes me more dilagent sometimes like just before TTOM I become weak !!! Congrads on the weight loss and inches lost !! yippee .Ok No , more eve slips here !! Gees its 2 weeks til I go on vacation to my moms I think I will do extra cardio the next two weeks .LOL
 
Hi everybody,

Well, so far today I've done really well. I had whole grain cereal with strawberries, blueberries, a couple slices of banana, and skim milk for breakfast, along with a cup of coffee (a must have)and water. Later on I ate a hard boiled egg. I've already put away a quart of water.

I was sick yesterday and slept most of the day. I really didn't eat all day until dinner. DH wanted to go to an Italian restaurant so off we went. I had some pasta with tomato sauce and 2 meatballs, and a salad with a scant amount of red wine vinaigrette dressing. I know, I know--not too good, but really, I hadn't eaten all day so the calorie count probably wasn't too bad, it's just all the carbs and I'm sure the meatballs were made with a fattier meat than what I would normally consume. But I didn't have any appetizers or dessert.

The hard part will be tonight. My in-laws are taking us out to dinner to a French bistro. I swear I'll make the best choices I can with the menu they give me. LOL}(

Mary, do what I do. Tell him that if he wants to tempt you with that stuff and won't help you, you will hide his Xbox remotes so that he can't play! Or maybe he has other toys that he likes to play with, it is all the same and it will work if you hide em!!! }( }(
 
Okay, yesterday was an awesome day!!! No sugar and I ate only when I was hungry and I ate well! I am feeling so good and am not hungry in the slightest!

I ate like there was no tomorrow yesterday:

Meal 1: oatmeal
Meal 2: scrambled eggs/wheat toast/grapes
Meal 3: Spinach salad (eggs, bacon and cheese) and a protein bar
Meal 4: Egg salad, chicken salad, Garden Salad, 3 Rigatoni noodles (LOL)and peanuts at the babyshower (No cake)
Meal 5: Tunafish and more grapes
Meal 6: Steak, peas, green beans and another salad

Plus lots of green tea and water throughout day.
