Personal Goals Check-in - August 14

Good morning everyone,

Hope you all are doing well:)

1)Limit sweets --- Check--- yesterday, I went to a dinner party and decided to have a small sliver of chocolate cake. It's so hard to try to eat healthfully without bringing attention to yourself. The hostess was great but she kept saying "you're not eating". Don't you hate that? My husband warned her in advance about my food issues, so I think that's why she kept asking me that. She did have pretty healthy food and I decided since my last little treat was last Saturday, I could afford it. The best part about it is that there were so many desserts there, she was begging people to take some home...I'm so glad we didn't;-).

2) 8/8 glasses of h20 --- Check

3) August Rotation ---- Check --- Completed Day 13

4) No food 2 hours b4 bedtime --- Check

5) No late night visits to the fridge --- Check

good morning ladies,

Have decided that I'm getting overwhelmed with all of my goals right now. so I am only going to concentrate on one for the rest of the month. I think I will keep trying the no sweets. I need to tackle that one the most! And of course I failed that one miserably yesterday! But today is a new day and I determined to fight this!

So far I'm still doing pretty well. I had a scoop of non fat, no sugar added ice cream last night, but I kept the portion low so I don't feel like I cheated.

Other than that, right on track.

Today is my last day of vacation, therefore my last day of the free-for-all that I've been on this past week:p

At least I've been doing well with my workouts, but I'm really looking forward to getting back to my regular routine. At least at work I don't have constant access to the pantry!
 
Hi All,

Good going Katrina, glad you manage not to take a dessert home.

1. Finished day 13 of August rotation, a bit tired to day.

2. Food has been very healthy, and I got to go to the famer's market yesterday so now I got a ton of fresh fruit and veggies for nearly 1/2 the price of what I would have paid at the store.

3. Trying a new method of seeing if I drink enough water instead of my normal 8 cups a day. My kidney doctor recommended it, as with people who workout more then a hour the standard 8 isn't generally enough. As well as this annoying heat, kind of change the playing field with water count.

hey all,

I am still on my rotation for Augyst.
Did ok on the sweets.(notice I said ok, not great!)
Cleaned out some more junk I never use and donated it to goodwill.
