Today I did Burpee Girl Low Impact Cardio to the Beat, 35 minutes,228 calories, heart rate 147/160, 3,134 steps. I then did my PT exercises + some biceps with 8# dumbbells, 37 minutes, 110 calories, 13 sets, heart rate 100/129, 160 steps. I finished with some stretches and foam rolling, 16 minutes, 19 calories, heart rate 72/99. Total time was 88 minutes, 357 calories, 3,294 steps. It's raining and rumbling. I got work up hearing the storm, then later I woke thinking the sprinklers were running and was climbing out of bed when I realized my husband had come in and it was the washing machine. He had started a load of clothes.
I think the problem is we do not absorb all the vitamins in our food and particularly in supplements so there still can be shortage.
Carolyn, nice work with Cardio Quick Fix workout 1. I used to do well with the superman move, swimmers have never been one I liked. I think extending the arms for a prolonged amount of time is my problem. Putting them under my chin works for now. When I went and got my mammogram first my doctor went over the results with me. Things have just been done out of order and when I can get in. The one that spent the most time with me and showing me details of my shoulder after x rays and the mri was the surgeons PA. He pointed out things and explained everything and what was done etc.. I guess the arthritis doctor did that too when showing me the narrowing in my neck and talking about options. I am not real happy with him. When I went in this time he asked who did my surgery and if he did a good job. I thought it was odd as their office was the one that picked my surgeon. If I did it myself I would have shopped around and picked one closer to home. There are not many arthritis doctors around here as I looked. Everyone seems to love the one that runs that center, and I think that is who my doctor originally intended me to go to. He is really busy and hard to get in to. He goes over all of the mris and stuff himself. I just thought that was weird and the fact I kept waiting and had to call and ask about the appointment his nurse was supposed to schedule for the surgeon.
Valerie, I always figured I probably get some calcium in my food and often find some supplements ad some more. I usually have some dairy kefir at night with berries. I was doing Cashew yogurt which I really like, but it does not have as much calcium and actually has more fat and missing things like potassium. When I was researching on bones and tendons mending after surgeries, I added Life Extension Bone Restore to my other stuff. It has K2 and some D in it with other stuff. I just wanted to help the healing along, but still spaced the 4 Tablets a day out and that is 700 mg of calcium, so my food and stuff should make up the difference. I have been getting a dexascan every few years for awhile now. For awhile I was taking Boniva, but I quit. It seemed every time I took it, it took two weeks before my bones didn't hurt. Also read the warnings and it said it was for back and could cause problems elsewhere. My doctor did not seem to care. I think I will keep up the calcium for now. We have Amazon to our house at least two times a week. Since we moved here a year ago we have had packages delivered elsewhere 3 times. I contacted Amazon and they always want to know if you looked around and checked with neighbors. I knew this and waited two days for that person to bring my package. Amazon is sending a replacement. We always take packages to the address they were intended. If I ever find the house with the black ceramic tile looking doorstep and light brick halfway up the porch with the rest siding, I will know who kept my package. So far packages have been all in our neighborhood when left at the wrong place.
Well, we have problems with postal mail as well. If I have gotten other mail, but did not have a clue whose it was and it was our address, but not the last owners name. It was DHS on the return. I just marked it not at this address and put it back out in the mail. We had the next door neighbor bring over a piece of our mail recently. I had a lot of issues with the post office and mail at our other house.
Judy, nice work with Live PHA and the Peloton workout.
Cathy, nice work doing To The Mat. Yes, with gas prices, and then the mileage would be a bit annoying when your son didn't get to work. 25 miles away for a package is a lot. Ours is usually in the area as well, although I have had a few that I just never got and had to report them as I never received the package.
