good morning. wasn't sure if I would have time to start this so set it up sat night. still here though. we are going to the park this morning to try a mt bike route we've never done before. cycling is very limited in the park. some roads are open to cycling before they open to vehicles. we will see if its a decent route.
we plan to spend a lot of time here this year if possible especially early in the season. unfortunately california and other parts of the west have not had a wet winter and this is a harbinger of fires to come. I hope not, but recent history says otherwise.
I always had some trouble with metal on jewelry. it's not the gold or silver, but whatever the alloy is. I've been told its nickel. my skin used to turn gray/black under my rings, watch band, even my neckline if I wore a necklace. it didn't itch but looked odd. the second earring hole pushed it over the top. I tried coating the backs of earrings, posts, wires with a special coating painted on but it didn't help. the itching and redness and swelling would last for days after wearing earrings for an hour. i loved my earrings but that was it, I never could tolerate it anymore. even had trouble with the metal snap on jeans. once that sensitivity gets activated I'm very touchy. it settles down if I limit exposure. so stainless steel/velcro watch bands. rings off at night. no other jewelry.
I don't like piercings most especially nose rings, tongue studs and other butt-ugly weirdness. Im ok with tats mostly but a lot of people will regret choices when they go out of style, as they surely will. DH had a small home made tat, just initials on his forearm that he had removed. it was expensive and was done surgically. the really extensive tats look like something beyond easy removal.
