Good morning, & Happy Easter to All!

Valerie, that is great that you are going to have to up your weights on most moves. What Judy found out from the Forum Admin make sense on the logging in problem. Are you using a "bookmark" to access the site?

Diane Sue, cute picture! She looks like she is having fun. The new Tower must be pretty strong...I don't think she could do that on the older style one. It sounds like everything is coming along nicely. After today it should be all done? Are you looking for a mop like a Swiffer with the stuff already in it?

Judy, thanks for the link.

I hope everyone has a nice day!

Judy ..I've had a similar problem. not all the time though. this morning everything is fine. the last few days I've had to log in and enter pw about half the time. I had the "stay logged in" box checked. I use a bookmark. it has the 's".

we intended on doing a hike/ snowshoe yesterday, but sometime since winter the road washed out. it was fine last time we were there in jan. it's a road the forest service doesn't maintain. we had been cleaning it up ourselves for years, just so it was walkable. we had taken a chain saw up there on our mt bikes to do the work. this wash out adds on a mile, plus now we have to park on the main road. it is a mistake to park with a chain saw and other tools visible. we didn't have any tools with us yesterday and were surprised at the damage. not sure we can do much more with our limited resources. we ended up checking another road and doing some bird watching at a nearby pond. no workout at all. DH went off this morning to ski. I had a bad headache this morning and opted to stay home.

cute pic diane sue. we have the older tower. not sure you could hang upside down on it.

Today I did the Fit Tower workout, lean and mean 35 minutes, 115 calories. I then did Suzanne Bowen Bounce thighs and stretch, 22 minutes, 114 calories.

Deb this Fit Tower is surprisingly sturdy. I like it. I got one of those mops that you add the rag mop to. When that gets worn I have a refill then I will use old towels. That is what I used before so I can wash the towel and always have a clean one in it.

Valerie, sorr to hear you had a headache. I hope it is better. It is so warm here that is hard to imagine snow shoeing. It has not been remembering my password most of the time.

My grandaughter is a bundle of energy. We have to caution her so she does not have her little brother trying to follow what she does.

I randomly accessed this site several times today. all but once I accessed without logging in with a password. once, in the middle of the morning, I would have had to enter a pw. I didn't, and came back later and all was good. ??? I have tried accessing from "view this thread" on new post alert, and also by using the bookmark on my favorites list. there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it.

we had a lot of snow this year and spring has been cold and wet with snow still accumulating above 3000 feet. it will be august before a lot of trails are accessible, unless there is an abrupt change. a few years ago we had a season where we were still hiking on snow all summer.

Good morning,

A nice relaxing brunch with the family yesterday. The weather was beautiful, sunny and 70 degrees.

Valerie, that is too bad about that road after you had done all that work. :(. Did you clear the cache etc from your PC?

Diane Sue, the new Tower sounds great. Mine is pretty wobbly, mostly because my basement floor has a slight slant to it. I have to have a board under one side to make it level. This is partly why I don't use it for barre etc. I can't move it around the room. It is mostly just for use with a barbell etc. I never saw a mop like that....will need to search the net for a pic or something.

Not sure what is up for today, except taking the table and chairs down from the dinging room...will try to do a workout...not really into it for some reason.

Take care,

Good morning everyone!

Boy this has been a really crazy work week for me. I oversee the mailroom/copy center and we had new production copiers delivered and set up last week. Huge task. The large B&W is used to produce our training materials and unfortunately, all our workbooks did not transfer over to the new machine so I had to rebuild each one after I was trained on how to use this beast! With all the componets to this machine it has to be 15 to 18 ft long. Does everything! Good thing I pick up technology because it is not a machine you just go up to and make a copy easily. Hmmmm job security for me? :)

I have been keeping up with my workouts. I did the most recent Cathe live on Saturday plus some bouncing all week. I like that she built a workout on the workout blender for Easter and shared it with everyone. Cathe is pretty smart to do this. This may get me to add back the blender to my monthly fee. I like the idea she made the workout for some reason. I did like using the blender as it does make it easier to mix and match instead of me using my iPad with my downloads. Gives me the variety I love and need instead of doing one complete workout from a dvd. But then there is the added monthly cost to do so. We'll see...if she continues to make the workouts.

I will be back on later today to read what everyone has been up too. Hope all had a nice day yesterday.

Deb I'm not sure how to clear cache. I routinely do a disc clean up that I thought cleared things out. and also occasional defrag process. I will goggle it. We were disappointed our road is destroyed. We have skied it and snowshoes it for decades even after the forest service stopped maintaining Have camped at the top a lovely spot in winter but been unable to get there in a long time now.
ETA I'm back. looked that up, I'm not sure if the clearing out procedure I do clears that or not. I know it gets rid of temp internet files and a list of other things. it's part of the regular software.

we are planning on traveling this week. we keep waiting for "good weather" but keep seeing unstable spring weather. right now wed is sunny for the bike ride we want to do on the way to MT. then we will go see our house. not sure how long we will stay. we will be staying in our camper. depends on weather somewhat, and we will need to order some furniture since it takes up to 2 months. we certainly don't need "everything" right away. we don't feel OK ordering anything before we look at the house and see how all the surfaces we picked look together.... how big rooms look , how bright etc. we will come back in a month with a trailer full of supplies we've been putting together. I had a lot of duplication in my kitchen accumulated over decades, and I've been buying basics as I come across them. this is exciting and scary.

Good Morning,
Today I did RWH Plyo HiiT One with some modifications. I like a little plyo but there are certain moves that I modify.

Yesterday was a nice holiday for us and I hope it was the same for you. Diane Sue, it sounds like you are very busy with the remodeling. I'm sure it will be wonderful when you are finished.

Deb, my original tower is pretty sturdy. I use it for barre workouts and for weights, but not on a regular basis. I will be happy to use it more with the new workouts.

Valerie, I hope you have a good trip.

Hello to Lori, Caitlin, and Judy. Have a great day.

Today I did Ice Low impact sweat timesaver step and blizzard blast, 37 minutes 286 calories. I am at 5092 steps so far. Yesterday I was 9210. There has not been much extra time for workouts. The floors will be finish we d today. I was set up to do a barre amped stretch when DH called to tell me the painter was on his way to do touchup. I had to hurry and dress.

Deb, it was nice here yesterday too. We got to do a lot outdoors. They had said chance of rain ,but it was perfect. No rain. This tower is not wobbly. I move it to a corner when I am doing cardio. The floor not being level would be a ptoblem. Why are you moving the table and chairs?

Lorie, all of that technology sounds like a huge task. I didn't even know there was an extra charge for the workout blender. I had never checked it out. Didn't some of the older dvds have a built in mix and match? Probably not the same though.

Valerie, I thought clearing your cahe was something you do in Internet options. I know if I clear my history etc. I end up having to log into everything again.
I have cleared it on my cell phone.

Carolyn eye looked at Ripped With Hiit this morning but decidea I was not up for it today. Easter afternoon was rather relaxing and a pleasant outdoor settig. It was nice to get away from the business.

Good morning,

No workout yesterday. I did do some running around to the bank, groomed Kylee and gave her a bath.

Lori, that copier sounds pretty complicated! Your company must make a lot of copies. I didn't realize Cathe did a workout and shared it...was it only in the workout blender? You need to have the On Demand option to use that correct?

Valerie, I use a free software program called "C-Cleaner" that cleans up all temporary files, cache etc in a few seconds. I run it (when I remember) once a day. It used to also clear all saved passwords, but I figured out a setting that keeps them. Hope the weather cooperates so you are able to get to go to the new house.

Carolyn, I will also use my old Tower for the new workouts, just need to find a spot in the floor that does not slant so much! It's a pain to keep moving it around and putting the shim under one side so it doesn't tilt.

Diane Sue, it sounds like your remodeling will be finished soon. I bet you will be happy to have your house back! To fit 15 people for brunch, I have to open the table to its fullest, and I bring folding chairs up from the basement to use around the table. The regular dining room chairs are too wide. Also, set up a separate card table for the 4 youngest boys and they sit there.

I go for the test this afternoon...nothing to eat or drink from now until afterwards.

Have a great day!

Deb.. best of luck on the test. I hope it's not too unpleasant ( too much to hope for it being fun) and that something gets learned from it!

diane sue hope the remodel continues successfully. it always feels good to complete something ... and clean up the dust and have it look good.

I do not want to mess with things right before we go somewhere. I looked up clearing cache. it would be easy to do but I don't want to clean out more than I want. last night and today, once again not needing to enter passwords. whatever issue this is, it is not a consistent one. If I assume right, even on sites where you store your pw, about once a month you MAY need to re enter it.

Lori they are lucky to have you and your technical skills. yep, I'd say that amounts to good job security.

Isn't it strange to watch the national retail store meltdown occurring? I go to fewer stores these days. Lowes. Home depot. Costco. groceries. pet supply. hardware. I use the online ordering at REI more often than going in person. they have a feature called "find in store" so if you are looking for a new tent, you can see what store carries it and go there. if no one locally does, I do mail order usually free shipping. sure beats driving all over for no reason. have your shopping habits changed? I buy almost all clothes online sight unseen. being short, local stores hardly ever carry anything that fits.

My workout today was Susan Chung Rapid Fire Results, including the compound exercises and abs. My total time was 76 minutes with 445 calories burned. My average heart rate was 118 with maximum heart rate of 154.

Valerie, I agree it's so strange to see the failure of so many retail stores. My own shopping habits have definitely changed over the last few years. There was a time when I enjoyed browsing in the malls, but I stopped doing that about 5 years ago. Now I am very focused on getting in a store for specific items and getting out. If I can order online and have it delivered that's what I do.

Hello to everyone and have a great day.

Today I did Ripped with Hiit Circuit Lower Body, 48 minutes, 319 calories. I followed this with Ice To the Mat timesaver 2 no ball, band and floor workout. 37 minutes, 116 calories. 121 average heart rate/ 156 max heart rate. This seemed odd to me as yesterday doing Ice Sweat my max heart rate was 174 and I felt I worked much harder today than yesterday. I wore 2# ankle weights for the floor work and used the blue firewalker band for the band work on this one. The floors are not finished. They grouted the tile and did not want to roll the refrigerator over the tile right after grouting it. They are coming back today to lay the flooring and the plumber is coming Wednesday to finish up in the guest bath. We put up the cabinet and put the sink and vanity in which needs the faucet and finish work. I got a lot of the furniture moved back into place upstairs since they are done painting.

Deb, I understand with the table. Our table is small and we can get 6 around it. We purchased one of those long folding tables to use when we have special family gatherings. I just request everyone bring some extra folding chairs. My daughter has a huge table in her dining room that all 16 of us can fit around. When there has been more than that she gets a folding table out for the littles. It is fun seeing the changes unfold with the house. I need to give Gertie a bath so I can put her Frontline on. Now that the bath is finished with the tile, maybe I can get it done today. I hope the testing goes well for you and is not too uncomfortable today.

Valerie, this dust seems to keep settling and I keep cleaning all over again. It is coming along though. I will be happy when the refrigerator is back in the kitchen. I hope that you have some nice weather for your trip. What I find odd is that sometimes getting on the forums works just fine. I am the same way with the stores. I have not been clothing shopping in a mall for a very long time. It just does not interest me. It was never something that I really enjoyed though. It was more a necessity. Online shopping has made that so much easier for me. I feel bad for the stores. Everything is online popularity now. I see more and more grocery shopping online shopping popping up. Walmart has set up their pick up centers so you can order online and pick up. Although there is a problem there as they substitute if they don't have what you picked. My daughter ordered large rawhide bones for her two labs and they gave her a pack of tiny rawhide bones. That did not work out so they had to take them back. I kind of like to choose my food and produce myself personally.

Carolyn, nice work on Rapid Fire Results today.

for whatever reason I had to log in this time.
Carolyn you are spot on. I shop with a list . I have a few online retailers I use after finding out trial and error who made things that fit. LLBean has generally good selection for shorter people and their pricing is competitive. not crazy about all their styles but enough work for me. REI is better than they used to be for short lengths. this is an issue for DH too. his inseam is 29. I credit the larger population of Asian men and women for making retailers realize there's money to be made with clothes that fit someone not 6'2".
retail stores seldom carry different lengths. if you can't wear a 32" inseam, too bad. I don't like shopping and iit's worked better for me to read product reviews, states, and order online. been doing it for years now. and the fitting rooms on are disappearing too or are so awful I don't want to go in one.
Did TBM this morning and will be getting on the road shortly.

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday I did STS 1 rep max testing. Today I did a 60 minute Spinerval.

Deb-I hope your test went well. I use C Cleaner too. I use the free version and it works fine for what I need.

Valerie-I've noticed that I stay logged in on the Cathe page that I have bookmarked but if I click on a link from the emailed notifications then I'm not logged in. I agree about the failure of the retail stores. It's really apparent in SE Michigan-lots of empty buildings and vacant strip malls and more stores closing.

Carolyn-I do most of my shopping online, for the same reasons you do. It's so much easier to find things that fit online and I like to read the reviews before I buy something. I've been buying my running shoes online for several years now. Free shipping and free returns if the shoes don't fit.

Diane Sue-Great workouts as usual! I agree about the fit tower, it is very sturdy. I can't wait to get the new workouts.

Lori-It sounds like a crazy week! That is great job security. They are really lucky to have someone with your skills. Nice job keeping up with the workouts too!

Hi to Caitlin!

Judy

Valerie, I find a lot more places to get the right fit online. I really do not like buying pants and having to hem them or wear heels for them to fit. Shopping online I can look around for the best price.

Judy, I am looking forward to the new workouts for the Fit Tower too. They look good. I have always kind of wanted one and after seeing the pictures for the new workouts and reading the format, I really wanted it more.

Good morning,

I am "strapped up" and not very comfortable. No way you can "do all your normal activities" with this thing inserted. I will be glad when it comes off today. Of course, no symptoms to record at this point, maybe something today before I have to turn the thing in.

Valerie, I agree, don't mess with it too much before travelling etc. If it is working ok for now, leave it alone until it starts acting up again, maybe then you will be back and then can work on it. I get sad when I see a store like Sears or Penny's closing. Not that I shop there, but they are "fixtures" in our lives. I remember pouring over the Penny's catalog when I had my apartment, and ordering from there for household stuff like sheets, drapes etc.

Carolyn, great workout! I'm with you....I do not like just walking around a mall...browsing etc. I go to the one store I have to go to and get out asap. Would much rather purchase on line, unless it is clothing that I have no idea of size etc. It does not happen frequently. The only mall I go to (a couple of times a year) to shop in an Outlet mall in Niagara Falls. I like some of the outlet stores, and you can get great deals off season. The Columbia store is one of my favorites. John gives me a gift card to this mall for Christmas.

Diane Sue, I guess that is smart, not to roll the refrigerator over freshly grouted tile. Will everything be done this week? Thanks for the mop link. I have a string mop in the basement that is still in the package. I never have used one...it seems like they would not pick up water very well. I didn't realize you could replace the "strings" eventually with a towel. Maybe I should open it and try it out? LOL.

Judy, good job on the 1-rep testing. I also use the free version of C-Cleaner. One of the computer tech guys at my office told me to use it, that it was safe and very good to have.

Back to the hospital this afternoon to get this thing removed....can't wait!

Take care,

Hello Everyone,
No workout today. I did not get up early enough to do it before leaving home. I just didn't feel like an early day today.

Deb, my husband had a 48 hour at home test in December and was hooked up to electrodes. He couldn't wait to get rid of it! Good luck with your removal.

Diane Sue, I use a similar type mop. I guess it's considered old fashioned, but I prefer it.

Valerie, I hope you are having a safe and enjoyable trip.

Hello to everyone.

Today I did Rapid Fire 4 Sweat, 73 minutes, 483 calories. I then did Barre Amped Power Stretch, 23 minutes, 53 calories. Total time 97 minutes, 536 calories. My husband is putting in the new molding. We should have the baths back to working tonight :) They will be back tonight to lay more flooring. We got to bed at a decent time last night. I got over 7 hours of sleep last night.

Deb, I can only imagine how uncomfortable that would feel while trying to move around. I hope you are finding relief this afternoon. I feel sad about the stores going out too. The smaller city we lived in had a JC Penneys and I appreciated them for curtain, clothing and linens. They had strip of shops that had a Buckle, Maurices, GNC, and some shops that you would normally see in a mall. I shopped there a lot. I recently heard that Penneys was going out of business there. I always loved the Sears and Mongomery Wards Catalogs and watched as they shrank. It is funny because you could buy almost anything through catalog order many years ago.

Carolyn, I have had that type of mop for years. They used to be metal and I found it a bit of a problem with some newer floors for scratching them if I didn't get the edges covered enough with the rag I used in it. Now they are plastic which makes it better. I like using the towels a lot better. Sometimes I will cut them to get just the right thickness and length when I fold them and put them in the mop head.

The plumber is here now and the flooring guys just arrived. Dh is trying to get the molding in along the wall where they need to move our extra heavy antique cabinet. He is working to get the speaker wires behind the molding for the surround sound while he is at it.
