My workout is done, dog bathed, bedding changed, baths cleaned, now a chance to take a break and eat something
I need to go in search of the compression sports bras with the back hooks I had. I won't need them for a bit but they may be in the top of the closet.
I did the Suzanne Bowen rebounder workout, 23 minutes. That is a leg burner. I jumped harder than they did, jacks, tuck jumps, high knee running etc. for me. I burned 141 calories doing this workout. I then did the X10 mix that just omits the circuit at the end, 63 minutes, heart rate 136 avg./168 max, 521 calories. I also did 10 minute ab chisel, 11 minutes, 55 calories. Total time was 97 minutes, calories burned 717.
Carolyn, you probably burned more calories than that. I usually have an idea where I should be by how hard I worked and I can estimate and go back and look at past logs before the Fit Bit and find I am right. I wouldn't worry either. Sometimes if it is close I just take what it says. You know if I enter different data from other sources and date it Fit Bit adjusts accordingly. The app quite often gives a slightly different heart rate than the watch. I don't know why.
Valerie, we have had several homes where we shared phone numbers with neighbors for emergencies. I have one of the neighbors phone number on a business card. She is gone a couple of weeks at a time because she travels and fixes hospital problems?? Not sure what kind of job that is. We have some new neighbors as some of the elderly ones have left or passed away. We are at the end of a dead end in a circle so you kind of see what all is going on around you. Her box was there when I woke up this morning but after I showered I noticed it is gone. She does not come out as much as she did the first year we were here. My husband thinks I am nosey because I watch the neighbors. I can't help it if I see what is going on. Well maybe when an ambulance comes and I go upstairs and stand on my step so I can see out the front window onto the street I am nosey? Her doorstep and driveway is facing my dining room window where I sit at the computer and I read a lot so I wee over there when I look out. I have met several of the neighbors but the new ones all kind of keep to themselves. Oh, and the lady next door quite often opens her front door and her little white scottie sits in the window of the storm door and barks at the neighbors. It is a sweet dog. She used to walk it around the immediate area.
I sometimes can fall asleep playing words with friends. That is sort of a neutral area that doesn't over activate the mind. My husband tells me he gets the same amount of sleep as I do because all of my coughing, bathroom breaks, and moving around keeps him awake. I don't where the watch to bed often. I did just read that if you wear it to sleep it more accurately calculates your resting heart rate. I feel like I do not want to live in that watch though. Obviously I am not wearing it to surgery tomorrow. It would be interesting to see the heart rate patterns afterward though. I remember having Fit Tv too. I had discovered Cathe before we had Fit Tv though. I used to follow a Firm check in that dropped into the e mail. I heard about Cathe there and got Power Max. She had a small forum then with 200 people.
I need to make another soup tonight. Maybe without so much meat in it. I have been kind of put off with meat the last few days. Yesterday I had an egg with spicey butter fried yams with onions, kale and garlic. It tasted so good I had it again for lunch today. That and yogurt is all that really sounds good.
