We drove way up in the mountains hoping to ski but it's too early. not enough snow low enough yet. we took our chain saw and equipment along thinking we would at least clear blowdowns off the road but it was already done. we drove home and rode the trail instead for 2 hrs 15 minutes. 25 miles. I got a flat tire and had to walk the last half mile.
Stopped at the ranger station to get husbands senior pass.. you qualify at 62. I've had mine for years. (This is payback time everyone for the money you saved me). It's a senior pass, or "America the beautiful" pass. it gives you FREE admission into all national parks and monuments, and most other federal sites. if you camp, it's good for half off the normal fee. I'm pretty sure parks are at least $25 a day these days, depending on how many people are in the car. This pass costs a one time fee of $10. it is good forever. it looks like a credit card. it has saved us hundreds of dollars over the years we've had it. If one person in a car has a pass, everyone gets in for free... If you or husband is 62, you need one of these! I have used it a lot. any facility that has an admission fee, look closely and most times the senior pass is listed, qualifying you for free admission.
https://store.usgs.gov/pass/senior.html there are lots of different passes with similar names. this is the senior one.
diane sue that is interesting to know how many calories pedal power burns. I don't get a decent reading from mine because the chest strap doesn't work very well. I think I got something like 50 calories last time!. I used to think I got a good workout from Kick Punch Crunch. I don't have a way to measure HR with any kickboxing but it doesn't seem to get me up like metabolic workouts do. this is what it feels like to me, fun, work, but not intense work. I hope your shoulder settles down. it took mine a long time but it's Ok now. I never had anything particular to blame it on.
Caroline I have the GS series too and always liked it. If I can complain about anything, it was cathe's hairdo in that series! I used it a lot but have done x-train more the last few years.
