Getting us started for the week.

Friday I did 50 minutes of Peloton rides and 20 minutes of Peloton arms.
Saturday I did Coffey Fit Raw Travel Bands (29 minutes) and a short outdoor run. Later in the day I went to the gym with Chris and did a 45 minute mostly upper body circuit.

Carolyn-Great job with Cardio Quick Fix workout one and Jessica Smith’s Gentle Yoga Total Body flow.

Cathy-I'm sorry about the sleep. I know how that is. It was a beautiful day today. The weather was perfect. Thanks for the info on STS2. The prices are what I expected them to be.

Diane Sue-Great job with the CDorner workouts, Step Boxing and Raw Day 3 Shoulders and Legs. The shoulder and leg workout looks good.

Valerie-I hope you had a good trip.

Hi to Lori

Just finished Bands, Loops and Weights Oh My! Uses green Boss Band and Loop and 10-15 lb weights. A nice variety of exercises covering all areas. Going to be another beautiful day here.

Judy great job with the Peloton ride and arm, and Travel Bands workouts, and getting in the outdoor run plus the gym workout.

Diane Sue nice job with the workouts yesterday.

we made it back, today is recovery day. 11 hours and ten minutes driving. raining for the first part of the trip and also a later section, some snow in the pass areas but above the road level. this morning was supposed to be a less simple drive. nothing horrendous but weekends are better than weekdays for the drive so . a lot of hunters out on the roads early saturday. opening weekend is not my favorite time to be outdoors. I realize we have killed off so many predators that deer populations need pruning, but I hate the disgusting spectacle of killing.

somehow when DH was tidying things before leaving, he accidentally turned on the alarm on my clock. it's really loud and went off at midnight. I only use it for the clock face so it's on the far side of the room. woke me from very sound sleep. I had to get up to find it and turn it off. no idea how he did it, have never used the alarm so it is a miracle the clock survived at all.

Judy, thanks for starting the thread this week. Great job with your workouts.

This morning I did Jane Adams Morning Energy yoga for 18 minutes. I intended to post earlier but I got distracted. Now it’s time for my family zoom call.

Hello to Cathy, Valerie, Diane Sue, and Lori. Have a wonderful day.

Today is a rest day. I got up and went to church and did not know the road was only one lane in front of our church. They said, it would take 3 weeks to finish the project. I had to take another route home. I am glad I was going the right way in that one lane. I will be taking Wednesday off from working out as I will have to get up really early to get to the Arthritis doctor.

Judy thanks for starting this week. Nice work with the Peloton ride, Raw travel bands (I liked that one), and Gym with Chris. I will have to go look at the STS prices. I doubt I will be purchasing soon. Too many things keep coming up.

Cathy, nice work with the bands, Loops, and Weights workout. It has been nice here and the fall colors are coming out. It is supposed to rain tomorrow. I am glad they are saying Sunny and clear Wednesday though. I have a lot of driving to do.

Valerie, I am glad that you made it back home with no complications. I have had my husband accidentally turn on the alarm clock. It was not loud, but I kept waking up wondering why the neighbors would be playing their radio so loud in the middle of the night. I guess he knew but did not know how to stop it. I have to get out the instructions and my notes on it to change time and stuff. The Chinese makers were not very clear on it. I found a Youtube of how to work it.

Carolyn, nice work on Jane Adams Morning Energy. I hope that you had a nice family zoom chat.

This morning I did Chiseled Lower Body Blast which was 48 minutes and 292 calories burned. My average heart rate was 126 and maximum heart rate was 150. The family zoom was nice. It’s been a while since we were all available for a get together.

Cathy, great job with Bands, Loops and Weights. That sounds like a good workout.

Valerie, I’m glad that you made it back ahead of the huge snow storm that hit Montana. You were smart to leave Saturday.

Diane Sue, I will miss my Wednesday workout for the same reason. That’s one of the days that I have a medical appointment.

Hello to Judy and Lori.

This morning I did Hearts on Fire. Kickboxing, followed by Hiit and finishing with Hi-Low. Then I did the P30 Extended Stretch. Another beautiful day here and it looks like even after tomorrow when it cools back down some we'll continue to have decent weather into November.

Diane Sue, I'm glad the detour by your church was in your favor. Every direction I go has some kind of road construction. I'd look forward to it ending for the season except that it will only end when it's too nasty out to work more. My favorite right now is where the construction zone on I-69 meets I-94. I can't go west on 94, so I do three exit/entrance loops to get me heading west. LOL It's not the posted shortcut, but is faster and I'm clearly not the only one that has figured it out.

Carolyn nice job with Chiseled Lower Body Blast.

Valerie glad that you made it back safely. Unexpected alarms during the night are truly unpleasant.

Today I did CDorner Rock & Roll Step #245, 58 minutes, 121/144, 264 calories, 5,178 steps. I then did Raw Back, 23 minutes, 54 calories, heart rate 90/119. I modified a bit on the pullover move.
I finished with CDorner stretch/mobility with a chair I have kept saved in my watch list. I like this one and it sure helped me as I had so many aches this morning today head to toe. Rainy weather makes things worse.
The chair is not for sitting on. There is more movement on this one. I skipped a bit of the lying and relaxing because she has a bit more stretching at the end to finish it off. This was 29 minutes, 48 calories, heart rate 79/97.
Total time was 1 hour 50 minutes, 366 calories, 5,635 steps.

Raw Back \ 3 moves done back-to-back 4 times for 10 reps each move
seated rows 15# dumbbells 10 reps
pullovers 10# dumbbell lying flat on bench instead of head on like Kelly and hand grip facing my head
I did not pull over real far and ended vertically and not towards the navel as suggested as that brings in the front of the shoulders. I stuck with the way I did the weighted bar during PT.
1 arm rows 15# dumbbell first set it felt to light so the other 3 rounds I used 17.5#
Finisher
run rows seated 10# dbs
scap squeeze seated 8# dbs

Carolyn, nice work with Chiseled Lower Body today. I am glad you had a nice visit with your family zoom. It is sometimes hard to get everyone together at the same time. My family takes some planning to get together. We are doing Christmas and Thanksgiving on Sundays before the holiday. With marriages and my husband working holidays it works out. I try to not schedule too many appointments in the same month, but at times it just turns out that that is all I can do.

Cathy, I messed up when I went to my granddaughter's wedding shower because I ignored the route Google Maps was telling me to go. I had a long bout of road work I got stuck in. I would imagine that posted route would have been busy. I would also have looked for an alternative.
Nice work with Hearts on Fire Kickboxing, Hiit, and Hi/Lo, and stretch.

carolyn, the first snow storm of the season is always troublesome. people don't have their brains geared to snow/ice especially because it's been 80 degrees every day. dont have winter tires on yet. this was an abrupt shift. the interstate crosses multiple passes on the way west. when we crossed, it was barely above freezing. 32-34 degrees. we assumed roads would be way more difficult on sunday. also start of deer hunting season. beautiful there so I wish we were there but I had things to do this week. getting a lubricant injection in my knee thursday. continuing to do therapy exercises. I hope to move to harder exercises and maybe fewer of them. this takes a long time.

Yesterday was a rest day. Today I did a 30 minute Peloton ride and Boss Bands-Core Focus Premix.
I pre-ordered STS 2.0, DVDs & downloads this afternoon. I'm really looking forward to this series.

Cathy-Great job with Bands, Loops and Weights Oh My, Hearts on Fire and the P30 Extended Stretch.
The weather is wonderful here this week. I hope it continues a little longer.

Carolyn-Great job with Jane Adams Morning Energy yoga and Chiseled Lower Body Blast. That's good that you have family zoom meetings. That's a great way to stay in touch.

Diane Sue-Great job with the CDorner workouts and Raw Back. I have a few Raw workouts on my schedule for the next week.

Valerie-I'm glad you made it back ok. I hope the injection for your knee helps.

Hi to Lori

This morning I did Gym Style Chest and Triceps for 49 minutes and 161 calories burned. My average heart rate was 110 and maximum heart rate was 162. The drop set push-ups always get me at the beginning of this workout. I only did half of them.

Cathy, great job with Hearts on Fire Kickboxing, HiiT and Hi/Lo, and P30 Extended Stretch.

Diane Sue, great job with CDorner Rack and Roll Dtep, Raw Bacr, and CDORNER stretch. As our children grow up and the extended families grow it’s hard to schedule holiday gatherings. You are wise to do it before the actual day.

Judy, nice job with Boss Bands Core focus and Peleton ride. I haven’t decided whether or not I want to get the new workouts. I probably will since I usually want some of the workouts from her series.

Valerie, I hope that injection gives you some relief.

Hello to Lori.

This morning I did Lower Body Barre Blend. A good workout, but I could have done without the cardio mixed into the early part. Then I went and walked at the zoo. Next Monday is the last day for the season and I'm planning to go. For some reason I decided to look up Derek's exam schedule, which is very different than class schedule, and darn if he doesn't have a Friday noon exam. Poor kid has three labs this semester, so a total of 7 exams. That means that we can't leave Friday morning to come home, so I'll have to stay Friday night. Doesn't sound like much of a big deal, but it's also graduation weekend. The difference in the price of my room from Thursday to Friday night is $100!

Diane Sue nice job with Rack & Roll Step, Raw Back and the stretch.

Valerie I hope the injections help.

Judy great job with the Peloton ride and Boss Bands-Core Focus Premix. I've not done any of the Boss Bands premixes. I haven't preordered yet, but I will soon.

Carolyn nice job with Gym Style Chest and Triceps.

I feel ridiculous but I am having zero discomfort in my knee. its working just fine without any instability and has been for quite a while now. I wear a light brace for hikes or rides but its more psychological than anything. one of those pull on sleeves with the knee hole. the injection is hyaluronic acid nothing exotic and it seems like a good idea especially while I am doing all this knee focused exercise. I did 30 on the elliptical and 45 min of therapy work that is a lot like a barre workout. to make matters worse, my right shoulder has been painful for a month now although it is getting better with time. I didnt see anyone about it, just laying off of anything that makes it hurt. discomfort seems to move around, where it started in the back that now is fine, and moved to the front. no injury I'm aware of. a long stretch of feeling like the walking wounded.

all my whining about no rain has switched. now its raining all the time. sigh!

cathy I hate that when hotels take advantage of special events to gouge on prices.

Just finished Live Stacked Sets Upper Body. Good and tough workout. Then I did the extended chair stretch from Step Boss. Flopsy has taken possession of the step bench, so it's still out. Since I'd used it for the workout, I did the chair stretch on it and really preferred it so in the future, I'll use the high step for that stretch. The high step because Flopsy can jump up onto the bench with me, and the ONLY thing that keeps her from being a perfect cat, is she's an obsessive licker. Which is especially annoying when I'm working out. And while I thought that leg workout yesterday was just so so, my legs are saying otherwise. Especially my quads and outer thighs which are usually areas I don't have issues with. Dreary and rainy here. Bye bye nice weather.

Valerie I totally get the psychological thing. After I messed up my calves on bleachers, it was a LONG time before I stopped being super careful on them. Sorry to hear you are joining us in our rain party. Great job with the elliptical and PT.

I had an early doctors appointment today, so no workout. I have another appointment tomorrow but it’s a little later in the morning. I hope to fit in a short cardio workout before I go.

Cathy, great job with Lower Body Barre Blend, Live Stacked Sets Upper Body, and Step Boss Chair Stretch. Hotels around colleges always raise prices when they expect parents and other visitors to come to campus.

Valerie, getting the injection is a good idea even if you don’t have pain now. The problem is still there.

Hello to Judy, Diane Sue, and Lori.

Yesterday I did Raw Strength and Balance that Kelly just put up. I stopped at the stop point of doing all moves two times. She decides she went a little light and said you can stop there or continue as she was adding another set of all of the moves (only one). This was 35 minutes, heart rate 92/117, 84 calories. I followed this with CDorner Fun Crazy Cardio Core, (not so much fun to me, must be my mood) , 35 minutes, 162 calories, heart rate 118/147, 2,142 steps. This was balance & cardio moves with moves on the floor(no crunches in this one). I finished with CDorner 20 minute stretch and mobility, 23 minutes, 37 calories. Total time was 93 minutes, 283 calories, 2,408 steps
I think I did too much plank and on hands work and my shoulder did some snapping and hurts so I am sure this had to do with my not liking the core cardio. Kelly's Balance was plenty of core work on it's own.
No workout today I was gone for over 3 hours driving, seeing the doctor, bloodwork, and getting my prescription which was not ready even though I had called 2 days ago so I could pick it up.

we did a hike this morning, 2 hours. it was raining hard half the night but stopped this morning so we got it in between fronts. cathy it was like a switch flipping. dry dry dry for 3 months and starting just over a week ago, wet wet wet. I'm Ok with rain until I get tired of it after a couple months.

carolyn my thoughts exactly. because it feels Ok now, the knee cap is still not right and lubricant might prevent it from becoming a bigger problem. that, plus the PT to develop the inner thigh muscles to pull it inward. I always hike with poles so that is decent arm/shoulder work, since Im avoiding specific upper body workouts while my shoulder gets better from whatever the cause. I will do therapy later. I usually fit it in while Im making dinner and watching the news so I moved my mat and supplies to the TV room.

I talked to my arthritis doctor about my foot and toe joint developing a knot on one side where I bend my foot. He said there is nothing I can do, but if it hurts bad and I need it he can give me an injection. I am sort of getting tired of being offered an injection. He said hydroxychloraquine will not stop that from happening. It mainly hurts when I am doing yoga and mobility because my toes get bent back behind me. Otherwise, I feel it on the bottom side of my forefoot. I need to work on the inflammation end of it.

Judy nice work on the Boss Bands core focus. I like the looks of the STS 2.0 but will probably hold off. Some parts I think I could do, but I would not be able to push through those for a while. Then again that is a few months away.

Carolyn, great job on Gym style Chest and Triceps yesterday. At the moment I have my eyes on the recovery portions of the new workouts. I wonder if she will have any timesavers and stuff or it will be like the original series. I think my next appointment is 2 weeks from now. I also need to try to get hold of the tag agency as soon as they open on the first. I have been trying for two months to get an appointment to renew my drivers license. Last month I called on the second because I forgot and they had a recording saying they were full already. This is ridiculous. They are making it really hard and I am starting early as I have till August. My husband got a couple of years ago and was able to make the appointment three months in advance. There was quite a lot of people there then, but the ones that had their stuff all together got through pretty quickly.

Cathy, nice work with Stacked Sets Upper Body. I often sit on my stability ball or high step rather than drag out a chair for seated stretches. That is too bad you have to stay an extra night Friday and cost goes up.

Valerie, hopefully the injection will help you along to healing and your knee stabilizing where is should be. I know when I did PT moves on my own it always took up a lot of my time when I would rather have been doing something I liked doing. We had rain here, but today turned off Sunny. I guess Friday we have more rain coming. When the neck and shoulder issues started getting bad and I went to PT the first time, I spent the off days doing it at home and it always took me over an hour. I watched youtube videos a lot while doing it. I think I need to spend more time on the rotator cuff move. I was thinking about what I am doing and missing, and I have slacked on that move.

first knee injection done. it stung a bit. the purpose is to lightly coat the area of "friction " with several layers of a lubricant gel . Dh had this done about 10 years ago. hope it works for me. too funny...this morning as I was driving to the clinic they called to report their elevators were not working, and it was necessary to use the stairs. worked out fine for me, but it was a quiet place this morning. it's a tall skinny building with outside stairs only. what could be worse than an orthopedic clinic losing their elevator?

WA went to mostly online license renewal many years ago. all the routine renewals you can do by mail or online with infrequent times you need to show up at a DL office. it reduced the backlog immediately. unless a up dated picture is needed there's no reason to be there in person.
