Well yesterday was all about Tux, the stray. I did get about half way through STS 2.0 Total Body Stretch. I'd had the carrier sitting next to the box he sleeps in for a week and it was super easy to shove him in and I should have known that when that was easy nothing else would be. Before we even got around the corner, about 1/4 mile, he escaped. So, I turned around and came back and sat in the drive and got him back in and secured. He continued to fling himself about, and had an accident, so the most of the 20 minute drive was quite aromatic and not in a good way. Got him there and right in a room, and oh the mess
they deal with things like that regularly and got him out and took him right to a kennel. They got to clean up him and the carrier. Procedure went well and I picked him up at 3. He was still drugged somewhat, but he was panting heavily all the way home and continued for awhile after I got him in Derek's room. Finally he gave a big sigh and relaxed. He was really good all night, has been eating and drinking and he was quiet all night. But, he didn't use the litter box, and no accidents outside it. So, he's currently back outside until tonight when I'll bring him in again. Per the vets office sometimes the anesthesia throws them off, but until he uses the box he has no shot and staying inside all the time. One thing I learned is that car rides really traumatize him. Clearly bring back bad memories.
This morning I did the barre segments from Lower Body Blast and Xtrain. I need to flip them as there's a more thorough stretch at the end of LBB.
Diane Sue I'm glad the fish that survived are doing well. Great job with STS 2 Total Body Giant Sets and CDorner Back to the 80's Step Aerobics and stretch/mobility workouts.
Valerie getting cats in carriers always takes some strategy. I've got soft sided carriers now with zippers and certainly discovered yesterday they are not a plus with cats like Tux. If he's staying around I probably need to get another hard sided one. I have had cats in the distant past where I had to set the hard side carriers on their end, pick up the cat and drop them in backwards.
Caroline great job with XTrain Chest, Back, and Shoulders.
Hi Judy!
