Playing catch up. Since the repairmen got behind and rescheduled for tomorrow still no washer. Taking laundry to my parents again. I’m leaving for my trip Saturday and not overly confident it’ll be working before then. So, when I get home tomorrow I’m going to pack for the trip and then try to make it through the week. I can at least do laundry at my sisters if I need things.

Friday I did LMR2 Cardio twice through, then Live Fast and Fierce Upper Body. Saturday I did Live Step Express with Blasts. While it definitely kept my heart rate up it was rather repetitive for my taste. Today I did Live Glorious Glutes. This one has a good variety of exercises. Moving back and forth between weight, firewalker loop and gliding discs and LMR Restorative Yoga.

hoping to get a mobility workout in tomorrow. I have a 7:15 appointment for fasting blood work, and I’m going to my parent.

Valerie I’m glad your crash wasn’t bad enough to hurt you.

too bad the washer wasn't an instant fix. at least you have close by family to share appliances. hope you can scoot by without spending half the cost of a new washer.
my crashes are not usually anything horrific. i don't do left turns well, especially tight ones. this was almost hairpin. i fell sideways but got my foot down first and sort of sat down in place. untangled and finished the section. no spectacular "big air" crashes for me! its weird how right turns are so much easier.

my back is definitely not better, hip is about the same which is not great but workable so far. i did a 15 min spin and then upper body weights this afternoon for about an hour total after we worked in the garden for a while. DH is great at shoveling and yanking out all the ground cover plants that have taken over. we moved some things including some big bushes. its gotten very overgrown, and i was too timid to start it myself because it gets pretty heavy and right now i cant do heavy. i wish i were that strong but I'm not.

Today I did JS HiiT Walk, 30 minutes, 175 calories burned, average heart rate 115, and maximum heart rate 153.

Cathy, great job with LMR 2 Cardio, Live Fast and Fierce Upper Body,
Live Step Express with Blasts, and Live Glorious Glutes. I hope that your washer is fixed soon.

Valerie, I’m glad that you didn’t hurt yourself when you fell.

Hello to Judy and Shannon.

Hi all. There have been better Mondays than this. I tried to do a mail merge in InDesign, but the idiot data guy who provided the list had linked the addresses to an external source. Not a particularly bright thing to do. It locked up my computer. I figured out what had happened, and long story short, what should have taken ten minutes took three hours to do.

No workouts this weekend. I'm going to have to play catchup with personals later. Sorry about that! I hope everyone has a good day.

Saturday, I did a 30-minute Peloton Power Zone Endurance ride and 30 minutes of easy cool down rides. Yesterday I did 20 minutes of stretching and mobility work and 10 minutes of upper body strength. Today I did a 45-minute walk with my husband.

Carolyn-Great job with Jane Adams Gentle Yoga and JS HiiT Walk.

Cathy-Great job with LMR 2 Cardio, Live Fast and Fierce Upper Body,
Live Step Express with Blasts, and Live Glorious Glutes. I’m sorry that your washer didn’t get fixed yet.

Valerie-Great job with the 15-minute spin and upper body work. I’m sorry that your back is not better.

Hi to Shannon

we did a neighborhood mt bike ride today for 45 minutes. along with the usual stretching 2x. i hope fixing my hip fixes my back. i believe the two things are linked. hip surgery will be sometime in december at earliest. until then my walking will be limited. i can walk but serious walking like hiking is not comfortable right now. sometimes its ok, but not always. i dont want to drive for hours and then quit in 10 minutes.

carolyn i have always been good at falling. lots of hiking, biking, skiing. falling regularly is included. i dont panic and get stiff and shred things and break bones. . some scrapes and dings but nothing serious. at least so far. maybe I'm just lucky?

Good morning, ladies. Yesterday I lifted weights PHA style and had a really good workout. Then after dinner, etc., I stretched for about 30 minutes. I needed all that to work out all the computer kinks in my back and shoulders. Today should be a better day.

Cathy – I’m sorry your washer is still out of commission. Or at least it was on Sunday. Is it fixed now? Hey, you do Cathe Live a lot, right? Does she ever create new cardio? Seems like all the clips I see are mostly metabolic weights.

Valerie – Your poor hip. It must be hard to deal with since you’ve always been so active.

Carolyn – Good work with JS HiiT Walk.

Judy – Good job on all your weekend workouts.

This morning I did P 30 Perfect Pump Upper Body, 44 miles, 148 calories burned, average heart rate 107, and maximum heart rate 132.

Judy, great job with the Peloton rides, stretching and mobility, upper body strength, and walking with your husband.

Valerie, it’s good that you can still ride. Nice job with the mountain bike ride.

Shannon, nice job with your weights PHA style and stretching. It sounds like you have figured out what type of workouts are good for you.

Hello to Cathy.

Today I did a 20-minute Peloton Full Body Strength workout and 10 minutes of PT work.

Valerie-Great job with your mountain bike ride.

Shannon-Great job with your PHA workout and stretching.

Carolyn-Great job with P 30 Perfect Pump Upper Body.

Hi to Cathy

We walked at our local park this morning. havent done it in at least 6 weeks. it went ok. the sore spots in my hip got sore as did my back. i sat several times during out several mile walk, one time a potty stop. i definitely need to do this surgery . not ready to hang up my boots. in spite of this DH has volunteered that i am still a stronger uphill bike rider than he is. even now. he goes faster coasting downhill while i brake more, but i always pass him on the uphill section after. its so bizarre to know that the anatomical piece that needs replacing is part of the uphill pedaling function. just crazy!. i need to get some imaging done soon.

cathy hoping your washing machine repair is moving along.

Good morning. I had a really good cardio workout yesterday. 10 minutes on the treadmill alternating with 10 minutes of low impact floor moves for a total of 50 minutes. I am officially done with my mix of cardio and weights! I have always preferred to keep them separate.

Carolyn - good job on Perfect Pump Upper Body

Judy - Nice work on your Peloton strength and PT work

Valerie - I'm sorry your sore spots got sorer on your walk, but good for you on keeping moving. The body is a strange thing for sure. No telling why it's easier for you to bike uphill, but hey, it's a great cardio workout!

This morning I did KCM’s Cardio Quick Fix, workout one, 26 minutes, 167 calories burned, average heart rate 124, and maximum heart rate 152. Cardio Quick Fix is my usual Wednesday workout because it’s short and fits into the time that I have before WW.

Judy, great job with the Peloton Full Body Strength and PT.

Valerie, great job walking in the park.

Shannon, great job with the cardio workout. I prefer to keep my cardio and strength workouts separate too.

Hello to Cathy.

I like to do a cardio warmup for 10 to 15 minutes before weights but i also have always liked separate workouts. today we will do a road ride later than usual because it was cold this morning and i needed to do some early shopping. i dont do long weight workouts anymore because i cant do strength work for legs and i need to be careful with any work using my back. i usually stick to half an hour now but more frequent.

beautiful day today, warm like summer. ride completed 1 hr 20 min 15 miles.

Today I did a 20 minute Peloton row and a 20 minute stretch.

Valerie-Great job with your walk. I don't do long weight workouts anymore either. It seems like 20-30 minutes works best for me now.

Carolyn-Great job with KCM’s Cardio Quick Fix, workout one.

Shannon-Great job with your cardio workout.

Hi to Cathy

Good morning, ladies. Yesterday I had to go get groceries, so I didn't have time for a regular workout. Once I got dinner done, etc., I did about 40 minutes of stretching.

Carolyn - Good job with Cardio Quick Fix. Finding workouts that fit with your schedule is definitely important.

Valerie - I'm glad you enjoyed your ride. And good job making your weight lifting routine work with your hip and back. The important thing is to keep moving!

Judy - Great work with the Peloton row and stretch.

Hi to Cathy, wherever you are.

Today I did LMR Functional Lower Body, 52 minutes, 160 calories burned, average heart rate 105, and maximum heart rate 151. I don’t do long workouts anymore. I’m more focused on wellness and maintaining bone density these days.

Valerie, nice job with riding for 1 hour 20 minutes.

Judy, great job with 20 minutes of Peloton rowing.

Shannon, nice job with 40 minutes of stretching.

Hello to Cathy.

I did 20 min of yard walking along with two stretching sessions. also an upper body workout for about 35 minutes. we have a plain weight bench that raises and lowers. with any overhead presses i raise the back and lean against it so the focus is only on arms and shoulders, not my back. when i do curls i usually do concentration curls or hammer curls with my back against the raised bench. its easy to get the rest of your body involved but i am mostly protecting my back. i stick with stretched out knee push ups.

Happy Friday! Yesterday I did my PHA-style weights workout. But this time I slowed down the tempo and knocked off two reps. The slow lifting maxed me out on a few of the exercises!

Carolyn - nice work on Functional Lower Body. I still like long workouts, but not super intense. My weight workout was a little over an hour, but I never broke a sweat. I like long walks. When I was going out on the road, a six-mile walk took about an hour and 20 minutes. But the days of crazy intense jumping and plyo moves are long gone.

Valerie - You got quite a bit of work in! Good job. Like you, I have a few body parts that I need to protect, but not to your extent. I had to quit pushups because they bother my shoulder, and I've really reduced my shoulder work overall. I sure do miss pushups though.

Hi to Judy and Cathy.

Yesterday I did a 30-minute Peloton Walk, a 10-minute Arms & Light Weights and a 10-minute Core workout. Today is a rest day. The weather has been beautiful for the past few days. It’s sunny and in the high 50’s-mid 60’s. I have a feeling we will be seeing colder temps after this weekend.

Shannon-Great job with the stretching and your PHA style workout.

Carolyn-Great job with LMR Functional Lower Body. I agree about being focused on wellness and bone density.

Valerie-Great job with your walking, stretching and upper body workout.
