Saturday was a rest day. Yesterday I did a 40 minute walk on the walking pad and some PT work.

Cathy-Great job with PP Upper Body, Live In The Ring, PP Lower Body and Live Bands, Loops and Weights Oh My! It was very humid yesterday. Hopefully this week will be better.

Carolyn-Great job with your yoga/mobility. I looked at some other brands of walking pad before I decided on this one. I liked the features and that it looked more like a mini treadmill.

Valerie- The walking pad only weighs 46 lbs so I can move it easily. We looked at the Peloton Treadmill but it weighs almost 300 lbs and takes up a lot of space. I know what you mean, I used to run a lot but I think my running days are over too. I am learning to love walking though.

we did our long drive yesterday and are in Montana now. the smoke in eastern WA and northern ID is awful and not going away anytime soon. its been there at least a month already and most of the fires are in mountainous or other wild areas that cant be accessed. it will be fall rain that puts them out but until then its smoke. this is about 4 hours of the drive all is ok here with no smoke. Montana has not had any big fires that i know of.

judy it used to be so pleasant to get on the treadmill and do a couple miles when it was raining or too hot outside to run. even then i had issues with not sweating much so our basement was perfect since its always cool there. our treadmill is a Precor and weighs several hundred pounds for sure. it was probably overkill even when we bought it but our older one had an electrical problem where it would shock me after running for a few minutes. at the time iI didn't see anything like what you have.

This morning I did a premix from Cardio Slam, 32 minutes, 153 calories burned, average heart rate 113, and maximum heart rate 137.

Cathy, nice job with Live in the Ring, PP Lower Body, and Live Bands, Loops, and Weights, Oh My. It’s good that the humidity is lower. It really makes a difference.

Judy, nice job with the 40 minute walk and PT.

Valerie, I’m glad that you made it to Montana.

Have a wonderful day everyone.

Today I did KCM’s Power Splits Upper Body, 35 minutes, 119 calories burned, average heart rate 107, and maximum heart rate 137.

Waving hello to everyone. Have a good day.

DH has been busy with projects but i haven't had a lot to do except be the gopher did many sets of stretches and an upper body workout both days. we are getting things done but will probably go home Thursday or at latest friday. too hot here starting tomorrow.

Yesterday I did a 20-minute Peloton Ride and some PT work. Today I did a 20-minute Peloton Strength workout and a 30-minute Peloton Ride.

Carolyn-Great job with the Cardio Slam Premix and KCM’s Power Splits Upper Body.

Valerie-Great job with your stretches and upper body work.

Hi to Cathy

Today I did Cardio Quick Fix, workout one for 26 minutes, 176 calories burned, average heart rate 126, and maximum heart rate 145.

Judy, great job with Peloton rides, Peloton strength, and PT.

Valerie, great job with stretching and upper body work.

Hello to Cathy.

Yesterday I went to the zoo and then to my parents. Had to deal with unexpected minor car stuff That added to the day. Went to leave the zoo and there was a piece hanging down under my engine. So, since I still needed the cabin filter Fort Worth didn’t have, I went to Valvoline. They reattached the skid plate, didn’t have the filter, and when they went to close the hood it wouldn’t. Miscommunication ensued where I thought they’d gotten it closed but they didn’t. Realized it when I went to leave my parents, to I went back and they tried again. Couldn’t do it and said Firestone could do a new latch, so kitty corner I went to them. They didn’t have the latch, but under a $9.99 inspection they got it back to working. By the time I got home, I’d added an extra 2 hours to the day. Today I did Live PHA Supersets with the ball.

Judy looks like we’re going to be back in the 70’s now and continuing. I like that a lot!

Valerie safe travels back. Sorry you have to deal with all the smoke.

Hi Carolyn.

we did a tough mt bike early this morning, the 6 mile road that we did when we were here 6 weeks ago. this time we didnt do anything active and decided to ride as the first and only thing. the altitude made it harder than usual. it helps to acclimate by doing lighter exercise first before tackling a real lung burner. its as if the RBC's are in hiding and doing an hour of some kind of exercise activates them for the visit but weights dont do that, only cardio does. the road had reopened this spring after being mostly closed for a few years but lots of people have driven it and churned up a lot of big loose rocks. it was nowhere as smooth as it was 6 weeks ago. still, i made it ok.
we drive back tomorrow. DH has a dental appt next week because problem tooth is not getting better and wont. we will be going back thru the smoke. its tough for us for a few hours but all those poor people who live there have been suffering with it for weeks already. something similar happens every year now. we did not have fires like this until recent years.

that's a tough one cathy. is this going to happen very time the hood gets opened?
