Good morning, ladies. What a lovely weekend! I was off yesterday – my employer gives Veterans’ Day as a holiday. I was going to check in, but instead, I spent the entire day outside, raking leaves and walking. Let me tell you, it was soul food!
Let’s see … workouts. Friday was Athletic Training from Cathe’s first Low Impact Series. Saturday was a rest day – I visited with a friend I hadn’t seen since last year. Sunday was a five mile walk, plus finally removing the poles from my back yard. I did some “heavy duty helping,” but the main work was done by my dad on a trackhoe (ETA - not to be confused with his track chair! Think backhoe, bulldozer, heavy equipment). That’s an awesome piece of machinery, for sure. Yesterday, of course, was lots of walking again.
Judy – Great job with the long Peloton ride! Sounds like your rest day is well-deserved.
Carolyn – Good work with your yoga and kickboxing this weekend.
Cathy – I’m sorry you didn’t sleep well the other night. I know that’s rough. I hope things were better last night.
Valerie – I’m sure your park walk was nice. But I’m laughing at 55 being warm. I’ve been in shorts the past couple of days, it’s still 70 and above during the day. Totally disgusting, even for Arkansas. By now, fall should be well established. Very glad your eye is healing without a hitch!
Diane – I hope all your planning and stuff for your Thanksgiving dinner goes well. I’d say yep, strengthening the spine is very important, no matter the reason. I hope you will be pain-free soon.
