pelvic floor muscle - discomfort?

I am at 21 weeks pregnant and have been exercising almost daily since the beginning. I do all Cathe, and hence, a lot of high impact. On 3 ocassions recently, while NOT exercising, I have felt a short-lived discomfort, not quite pain, "down there." It is hard to say where or what exactly I felt, but it was definitely not cramps on the front of my stomach, more like a tugging underneath, between the legs.

I did my kegels faithfully until about late Dec. when I sort of forgot. Then in the past two weeks I have resumed them again.

I have not leaked urine during exercise, but I have leaked a few times the past two days with these ferocious sneezes that came along with a horrible cold. (Not exercising now.)

Do you think I am stressing my pelvic floor muscles? Could it be from resuming the kegels themselves--work a muscle, feel it? Should I cut back on high impact? Should I cut back to fewer days per week? What do you think?

Thank you,
Gina

Also, I have NOT noticed any joint discomfort as mentioned in the post about 'disregarding advise from LPN' Gina

I had this type of pain in my cervical area with my last pregnancy -- my OB said that it was the baby's location and perhaps him kicking me. Keep up the kegels... :)

My doctor told me today that stress in this area, like cramps you feel on the front of your stomach or on the sides (bit still sort of in the front) are also a result of the growing uterus and ligaments stretching. She also mentioned the movements of the baby! Gina
