Hola Peepers,
Catherine--I am your new coffee drinking partner. I am on a big o' cup and will be reaching for a second for sure. I'll explain in a minute, but let's just say DD is now Houdini and is escaping from the crib permanently now...
Robin--Antiquing sounds like a perfect fall activity. UGH about the sugar, though--I HATE when that happens, but in my case, since I keep the shopping update list and do all the cooking, I'm usually the one who forgets when something is out...LOL!
Ellie--Enjoy your walk today! So glad you are feeling better.
JJ--Errand Max, LOL!
Laura--Hi there! This thread is great for meeting new people (everyone has been super nice and supportive here) so welcome. I like Christian Contemporary, too.
Karin--Yoga sounds perfect. You probably need a bit of centering before you jump into something like Drill Max, LOL! Glad you made it home safely.
OK, night number two of barely any sleep. DD (who is 22 months old) is now Houdini and escaped from the crib within 10 minutes of being put into it last night. I told my DH we need to put the matress on the floor, buy a baby gate for her door, and let her work it out. He said no, "I can get her to sleep, I'll just stay in her room." I was like good luck with that! but said nothing. I went to bed since he basically told me I was dealing with it wrong.
Around midnight he came in, woke me up, and said, "Uh...she's alseep on the living room floor." If I weren't so tired I would have yelled "HA!" So I got up and slept on the couch in case she woke up in the middle of the night (which she did at 2:30AM) and got her re-settled.
So, guess who is going to Target after work to buy a baby gate for Houdini? Oh! And Houdini has figured out how to open all the baby locks on the cabinets and drawers so now my entire house is shoved on to the back of the coutnertops and tops of cabinets and closets!! Is it any wonder why I'm exhausted??????? LOL!
Needless to say, thanks to Houdini, I will be doing Barely Functioning Max today.
Have a great day, Peeps!
Wendy
