Peanut butter protein drink recipe

Hi, I just "discovered" this combination, and I'm really loving it!

(and I kind of estimate on the amounts)

9 or so ice cubes
1-2 scoops Designer Whey vanilla protein powder
a serving of peanut butter (is it 1 or 2 T? I forget)
and maybe 1/2 C or so of milk...maybe a little more, I never measure. Add less and you can always add more.

Blend it up, and it tastes very very very much like a peanut butter milkshake! Yum! :)

Thta's a good recipe! I'll use it sometime:D. I also made a cool recipe using Designer Whey French Vanilla powder. I don't really like this one that much, but it tastes good in one lthing (yucky in milkx( x( ) In the morning I have a cup of coffee with a little bit a skim milk and and a teaspoon of Splenda. Then I added about a tbsp and a half to 2 tbsp and it tastes like french vanilla coffee but with PROTEIN for muscles!!! It tastes really good:9 :9.

>Here's a hint - instead of using ice cubes, throw in some
>frozen banana;)

I love frozen bananas!
Seems every time I get a bunch of bananas, they ripen before I can eat them all, so I just peel them and toss them in a container in the freezer.

Also, subbing almond butter for p.b. is another option.

yum, good idea with the frozen bananas and coffee. Come to think of it, I have frozen banana chunks in the freezer right now... ::runs off to try the new concoctions with frozen bananas::

I just came up with another cool one tonight at dinner. i had a can of Diet Pepsi Lime, but did someting different this time. I poured it into a cup, and put a tbsp of the Designer Whey French Vanilla Protein Powder into it, and it made it taste like Vaniila nad Lime. It was yummy:9 :9. But be careful. When I tried it, I poured the whole can in the glass which filled it almost all the way, the put the protein powder in it, and it overflowed:eek: . I suggest don't fill the glass all the way:7 :7.

My FAVE treat smoothie is:

cut up banana
1 T of almond butter
package of EAS Myoplex Chocolate protein powder
unsweetened soy milk

Oh. My. God. The best! Pretty high on the carbs, so I don't do this one very often, but .... those are the days to live for. :)

My favorite protein shake is: Frozen strawberries, frozen blueberries, peanut butter, and a scoop of whey protein. IT'S SO YUMMY!!! :9
