Pairing a Strength and Endurance Tape per week

Hi everybody-

How do you pair up your Cathe workouts if you want to do a Strength workout and an endurance workout in one week?

For example, currently I am doing PS (each tape 1x week) and Power Hour (1x) in a week. I always do plenty of cardio, so that is covered. Would it be better to pair up PS with something else like MIS, or Body Max? What do you all pair up w/ S & H if you want to get an endurance workout in during the week?

I have all of Cathe's tapes.. would love to hear how and if anybody out there pairs up their workouts.

Hi! Your current rotation sounds great the way it is because you are getting strength and endurance both in one week. I used MIS during my PS rotation and PH during my S&H rotation. I liked the way that worked. Body Max I generally use in an all out endurance rotation where I do Body Max on a Sat. and then do CTX weight work and cardio Sun-Thu. Remember, CTX weight work is for endurance and those are great to tack onto a strength rotation too, if you have the time. Have fun!
 
I pair up MIS with Power Hour by breaking MIS down into upper / lower workouts and then P. Hour is the total body. Also, I do as you listed, the PS 1x each with P. Hour. I only do upper body on Body Max but you could mix it up with P. Hour. When I do Slow & Heavy (1x each), Power Hour is usually the total body workout at the end of the week - and my abs usually show it by the end of a 3 week round.

Thanks for the replies. I am definitely seeing results when adding the endurance work to the rotation!!

Gibbee- you will like CTX.. I have paired that up so that I work two body parts /day from that series and then do Body Max or MIS once during that week as well. If you are working on your abs, CTX has a bunch of varied and challenging ab routines. You will definitely like what it will do for you!
