P90X WORKOUTS

Could someone tell me about P90X workouts? Are they harder, more intense than Cathe workouts? Are they high rep/cardio or heavy weight workouts or both?

Would someone alternate them with Cathe workouts or do them exclusively?

thanks so much! edie

Hi Melissa!

Thanks so much for the link. I'm going to take my time to really read in order to decide if P90X is something I want to embark on. Did you end you purchasing the dvds? If so, how did you do on the program? I saw some P90X products on ebay and also went to the website.

If anyone else reading wants to chime in and share their thoughts on the system, please do so. thanks again! edie

Edie,

I am not normally one to draw attention to myself but I think you might be interested in this...I finished the X in April. I have progress pics on my picture trail. If you want to see an example of what the X can do, please take a look.

It's a TOUGH program that warrants a TON of dedication to get through BUT the results are SOOOOOOOOOO worth it!

Best of luck in your decision!:)

BTW-Just so you know...I did the classic rotation and made some changes to suit my needs but the the core of the program remained in tact.

Edie,

I did purchase the DVDs and I love them. I did not do the DVDs soley; I mixed them with Cathe for variety. I found that I had hit a plateau and needed some change. P90X fit the bill! I am glad I have them! Good luck to you!

Hi Wendy!

You look great! P90X really worked for you. Thanks so much for sharing. I appreciate your input. edie

I did p90x as well - loved it - great program - I did not follow the diet though but I am amazed at how many frickin pushups I can do now!!! LOVIN IT!!!

At the end of this month, I am going to use the P90X classic rotation, except I am going to sub out the cardio workouts with Cardio Coach workouts and Cathe Kickbox workouts and sub out the Legs and Back workout with Cathe Legs workout and tack on GS Back - -

I will post my plan towards the end of the month.....I love running in the summer, so I need to be able to do that - plus I couldn't get into the cardio workouts in P90x - they are ok, but just not that fun for me. I did LOVE Core Synergistics though
