Happy President's Day, Rut Busters! :) Just getting things started here for the week - Week One of Phase Two!

Since I have today off, I slept in this morning. I will do Chest, Shoulders and Triceps a bit later with a segment of Core Max. for abs.

Hi Ladies -

We made it all the way through Phase I. Hurray for us!

My back is better, but I'm going to the chiropractor this afternoon. I was able to do Core Synergistics with no problems this morning.

Hello Ladies!
Congrats on everyone getting through phase 1. I need to jumpstart my rut busting again. Today I didn't have time in the AM for the workout - I have to work today :( and everyone else in the world (it seems!) doesn't so we all went out last night.
Hope the rest of you do have the day off and are having a nice long weekend!
 
NO day off for me! Full time moms never get the day off! My baby is pretty sick...spiking a fever. At least he is slowing down! He caught a cold virus while were were traveling for that wedding. We stayed with friends from college and their little one was "getting over" a cold. I am feeling it too, but no fever.

I did Chest, Shoulders, Triceps, Ab RipperX and ran on the treadmill. The run was HORRIBLE, don't know if it was because I ate like crap all weekend or if it is the virus setting in...both, I am sure. I had to shave off a few miles and slow it down

My arms were on fire the whole workout! My oh my, if this doesn't do it...nothin' will! Yowlsa! I couldn't do the one armed push-up...could hardly do them on my knees! Hoping I just need to "get a feel" for them! I should be sore tomorrow!
 
Hello Everyone!

This morning i did kickmax and maybe tonight i will go for the strech at least for the first 20 minutes.

i did real bad this weekeng regarding my eating. this week i when to the movies with my daughter and eat some nachos/cheese. and then on sunday when to chucke cheese and had some pizza.

let see i will try my best to do better this whole week. i am so excited i order the high step i will be getting it tomorrow morning.

now i have the club step and the high step. yessssssssssss

I think i'm heading toward another rut, two bad days here. Yesterday i was going to take a rest day, but decided to do core synerg. Haven't done that since my first round w/p90x(in july), ouch!! Buttocks doms today, and i havent' had that in quite some time!!!

Tonight i wasn't really in the mood for anything in specific, took two 12 yr olds shopping today and walked alot, so my legs were a little tired.(ate pizza though, so feeling alittle guilty, but it was a "girls day out")

Started to do hardcore extreme tonight, just for fun, and ended up quitting half way. Just not into it today, maybe i need an honest to goodness rest day.

Margaret, hope your back is better!! Sarah, hope your not getting sick, everyone around me has had the flu, i'm still good knock on wood!!

Hello everyone! Got up this morning, although I really really didn’t want to (!), and did PlyoX. I was groovin’ along and thought to myself “You don’t seem to be working very hard” so I kicked it up a bit. Then I could not breathe! Then Tony Horton goes down and says “Tony is grabbing his knees! I am going to press my personal pause button.” That always makes me happy – to know that he is dying in that segment too!

Ruppie – Get your little tush out of the rut and start bustin’!

Wendy – one meal does not a tragedy make. Neither does two ;) You just need to climb back on the horse and get back to it. You might want to just take a whole rest day with no workout or even better, just do a stretch tonight. Not terribly long but just enough to get everything relaxed and calm. I like Stretch Max for that. Twenty minutes and when you are done, you feel like jello :)

Ima – how are you feeling?

Margaret – glad the back is feeling better!

Dominican – you sound like you are kickin’ butt on those Hardcore workouts!

BIG PROBLEM LADIES – my bands were not shipped again! Another Beachbody great customer service story! I have no bands for Back. How will I do Back & Biceps or Legs and Back this week? Do I have to cut them completely? Any suggestions?
 
I don't want to hear ANYTHING about healthy people missing their workouts!!!! That is completely unacceptable! Do you know what I would do to be healthy enough to workout? I'd do anything to be able to workout today but this cold is nasty! I haven't been put out of commission for about a year and a half...maybe longer! I want you guys to get your butts moving, just think "this ones for Sarah...or Ima".

Can't do anything...too sick. Wish I could nap but who will watch the kids!;(

About the bands, I bought some from Dick's Sporting Goods for half the price. The brand is gofit.net. I bought the "gym in a bag" and it has 3 bands, door attachment and ankle cuff and it came in a bag. It cost $30.00. the gofit.net website has the same thing for the same price.

Go workout guys, I am so jealous!

Thanks for asking about my back. It is definately better, but for some reason, kick boxing moves seems to throw it out lately. Don't know what that's all about. Anyone have that experience?

Sarah, I remember those days when I was sick but had little girls to look after. It goes all too fast. One such time I fell asleep on the couch and they covered me up with every blanket they could find in the house. I woke up sweating buckets! Anyway, feel better soon!

Okay, starting NOW if we are healthy enough we will do a workout of some sort, even if you have to stop part way through. And starting now we will eat healthy (said the woman who just polished off 3 pieces of peanut brittle). I seem to be cheating alot lately.

Tomorrow is a new P90X workout for me - chest, shoulders & triceps. I'm kind of looking forward to it. This morning I did cardio X. It doesn't have Cathe's fun factor, but I like the workout because it targets more areas than other cardio workouts do. Don't you agree?

This morning I did Kick Max -- whoa. Is there ANY hardcore cardio out there that DOESN'T have interval blasts!?!?!

Sarah, get well soon!! the flu went thru my household over a two week period, and *knock on wood* i haven't had it yet.

Today i did p90x chest shoulders triceps and did the first coremax workout. I'd like to throw in some cardio, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen.

tomorrow, i think i'll tackle imax 3 again, i'm having a strange addiction to that workout}(
 
Good Morning ladies! How are we all doing today? :)

I had an early morning today that became even earlier b/c I could not sleep. I sear, I didn’t sleep a wink last night and then at 530, I was wide awake. I figured that I had to get up soon anyway, so I just got up and got started. It was a great workout, even though I had to cut the back work short a bit, thanks to my issues w/Beachbody. Let’s hope they come through for me today and actually call to confirm that my order is on the way, like they promised. I did Back & Biceps this morning (less 6 sets of pull ups), ARX and the Leg Sculpting Drills from KickMax. I was actually lucky that there was a lot of back work other than pull ups in this workout (much more than there is in Back and Legs), so I hope that there was not too much sacrifice by not having the bands and cutting the pulls ups out. Not idea, but I made do!

Tonight is our Skating Party at work. We rent the rink out and have our clients and friends come to a pizza party and then to skate. It is a fun time but I need to stay away from the food. Pizza, cookies, soda – oh my! :+

TIMBER: ? for u. When u work this early in the morning for lifting do you anything and if u do how far away.

Hi Ladies!!! This morning I did Hardcore Chest & Triceps - and then I went for a long treadmill run (that one was for you, Ima!)

Christine your skating party sounds like fun!! Hopefully you'll be awake enough to enjoy it! ;-)

Wendy - you have an addiction to Imax3? I've actually haven't gotten up the courage enough to try this one yet! I'm still having major DOMS in my butt from KickMax!! I'm so happy with it! I don't usually get DOMS in my butt! What's making you addicted to Imax3? You're making me finally want to try it (which is a GOOD GOOD thing!)

I have to say I was falling back into my rut for a little while there, but being able to try new videos (the hardcores) got me motivated to keep busting it -- so although I'm not following the P90X rotation closely as I had originally planned, I still will stay on course with similar workouts with my substitutions! This check-in board has been great for me - you are all a really great group! Do we have to stop after 90 days?

I have to admit, I pulled out the 3 pounders on some of those tricep moves in Chest and Triceps! WHOA! I was so weak from everything leading up to it. Boy does that video give me room to grow. I think Cathe was using 10 when I was using 3!! Whoa!

Hey, guys! My iBook's logic board got fried and I've been offline for almost a week while they fixed it. The VERY FIRST THING I'VE DONE WITH MY RETURNED COMPUTER: Look up my Rut Busters. I really need you guys to stay honest.

My workouts were sporadic when I was offline...I am ashamed to say I couldn't motivate myself to work out every day without my Rut Busters.

Margaret, too bad about the back. I hope it feels better soon.

Ima, I'm sorry you got sick! It's hard to be the mom in the house of virus. I've been meaning to ask you how you keep on track with your workouts when your kids wake you up in the middle of the night. We have a new puppy and I get up three and four times with him every night--I'm exhausted. It's hard to get out of bed and workout..
